The Fortnite x Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles event is now live; gamers can enjoy this crossover until February 27 at 9 AM ET. During this event, gamers must earn as much Ooze as possible so that they can fully complete the Cowabunga event pass and unlock all rewards. Even though most of the rewards are unlockable as gamers get more Ooze, there is another currency that they must earn in order to get a special item: the Krang back bling.

Fortnite: When Does Chapter 5 Season 1 End?

Here is the date for the end of Chapter 5 Season 1 and the start of Chapter 5 Season 2.

This guide will tell players everything they need to know about getting Krang Blueprints in Fortnite, including how to complete all phases of the Splinter Assignment Quests.

Updated on February 12, 2024, by Ashely Claudino: This guide has been updated with the Splinter Assignment Phase Two: Gear Up! Quests.

How to Get Krang Blueprints

Players will have to earn Ooze to unlock most of the rewards in the Cowabunga event pass, but that's not the case with the Krang back bling. Fans will only be able to unlock the Krang back bling in Fortnite once they've collected all Krang Blueprints.

To earn a Krang Blueprint, players must complete every stage of the Splinter Assignment Quests. The first phase, Stick to the Shadows, was released when the event went live on February 9, and the rest of the stage will progressively become available as the event continues; every three days a set of quests will become available.

In total, the Splinter Assignment Quests will have six stages, meaning gamers will have to collect six Krang Blueprints to get the back bling.

Phase One: Stick to the Shadows

Stick to the Shadows is the first phase of the Splinter Assignment Quests. Quests will continue to be released, and they won't disappear until the very end of the event. Once gamers have completed all the eight quests available in this first phase, they'll earn a Krang Blueprint, which will count towards their progress to unlock the Krang back bling.

Travel through sewer pipes in different matches (3)

Players can enter sewer pipes in Fortnite to quickly travel to a nearby location. Here is where they can find them:

  • Classy Courts
  • Ritzy Riviera
  • Reckless Railways
  • Grand Station
  • Pleasant Piazza
  • Snooty Steppes
  • Unmoored Manor
  • Hazy Hillside
  • Grand Glacier
  • Ship It! Station
  • Underground HQ

400 Ooze

Damage opponents with suppressed weapons (500)

Gamers can head to a Mod Bench in Fortnite and apply a Suppressor mod to their weapon; this way, any damage that they deal to opponents with their weapon will count toward quest progress.

300 Ooze

Search a Ninja Turtle Supply Drop

Ninja Turtle Supply Drops will appear marked on the player's map with a weapon icon. There are four Ninja Turtle Supply Drop types - each one represents each turtle's signature weapon.

400 Ooze

Use the EMP Stealth Camo item (1)

Players can find the EMP Stealth Camo item as floor loot or by searching chest containers. Alternatively, they can buy it from Solid Snake at Piney Lane for 100 gold bars.

300 Oze

Destroy objects (200)

The best way to destroy objects in Fortnite is to throw grenades or use an Anvil Rocket Launcher.

300 Ooze

Visit the lair and then travel east (500)

To complete this quest, players have to enter the Ninja Turtle's room at Underground HQ, and then they must go outside and walk 500 meters to the east.

300 Ooze

Purchase Ninja Turtle Weapons from vending machines (1)

Players can head to these locations to find Ninja Turtle Weapons Vending Machines:

  • Rebel's Roost
  • Ritzy Riviera
  • Pleasant Piazza
  • Hazy Hillside
  • Grand Glacier
  • Classy Courts

Ninja Turtle weapons are Mythic rarity weapons, so they are a bit pricey. Gamers will have to spend 300 gold bars at a vending machine to buy one.

300 Ooze

Do an impossibly difficult trick on a Driftboard (1)

Even though the quest's description asks gamers to "do an impossibly difficult trick" on a Driftboard, any trick that scores points will be enough to complete this quest. Gamers will be able to do a flip on the Driftboard if they boost before jumping high enough and moving the board forward.

300 Ooze

Phase Two: Gear Up!

Fortnite: Shredder and Splinter

Players will gain access to Phase Two of the Splinter Assignment Quests once they've completed five Phase One quests. Here are all Gear Up! Quests and how to complete them:

Hire a character

There are 17 NPCs in Fortnite, and players can hire nine of them. Here is a list with the location of each hirable character.

400 Ooze

Have a hired follower eliminate an opponent

Hired NPCs don't have the best aim, so it might be difficult to complete this quest right away. To make it easier for a character to take down an opponent, players should lower an enemy's health first and then dodge their attacks while the NPC attacks them.

300 Ooze

Collect weapons from supply drones in Hot Spots (3)

Each match, there will be a couple of named locations on the map marked gold - this indicates that they're a Hot Spot, which means they'll have supply drones riddled with loot flying around. Gamers will have to shoot down the drones and collect the weapons that fall out to complete this quest.

400 Ooze

Spend bars at Mending Machines (200)

Players will find Mending Machines at nearly every named location; these machines are marked with a medical sign to indicate their purpose. Fans can purchase the Patch Up service here if they've lost health or they can buy healing items.

300 Ooze

Crack opponents' shields (10)

To complete this quest, gamers only have to damage the shields of ten different opponents, which means they'll have to deal damage to opponents that have already shielded up.

300 Ooze

Damage opponents with Ninja Turtle Weapons (150)

Players can obtain Ninja Turtle Weapons in TMNT vending machines and TMNT Supply Drops.

300 Ooze

Emote in different matches (3)

To complete this quest, players have to enter three matches and dance each time.

300 Ooze

Spin degrees while airborne and on foot (7,200)

Players have to spin a total of 7,200 degrees either while airborne and on foot, which means they'll have to spin around 20 times. Gamers can complete this simply by playing the game, but they can also increase their sensitivity to get it done even faster

300 Ooze

Phase Three of the Splinter Assignment Quests will become available on February 15 at 9 AM ET.
