The fourth set of Chapter 5 Season 4 Story Quests is now available in Fortnite, and it's time for gamers to start working on them and continue with this season's storyline. The previous set of quests targeted Doctor Doom, and this time around, players are going after Mysterio, the boss inhabiting Doomstadt.

The Illusionist Story Quests
Here is how players can complete The Illusionist Quests in Fortnite Battle Royale:
|
Quests |
How to complete |
|---|---|
|
Stage 1 - Toss common items at Doomstadt (5) |
If you're not familiar with Fortnite's item rarity system, "common items" are the grey items that gamers can usually find as floor loot or inside produce boxes. To complete this quest, gamers have to go to Doomstadt, grab one or common rarity items and drop or throw them on the floor. To do this quickly, players can grab one common item, drop it, pick it back up, and repeat the process until they unlock Stage 2. |
|
Stage 2 - Hit an opponent within 10 seconds of exiting a hiding place |
There are several hiding place locations in Fortnite but the best ones for this quest are located in Doctor Doom-dominated locations. Since Doctor Doom locations have tons of minions for gamers to eliminate, they can easily exit any hiding location and target an opponent right away. Doomstadt is the Doctor Doom-dominated location with the most hiding places so it's the ultimate location for this quest. On top of that, several players tend to land there due to the high number of chests and the boss that guards it. Here is where to find hiding locations at Doomstadt: Even though it doesn't have any hostile bots, another good location for this quest is Reckless Railways, as it has the highest number of hiding locations on the map. |
|
Stage 3 - Wake up brainwashed characters or eliminate hired followers (3) |
There are three brainwashed characters on the Battle Royale map, and here are their locations:
To wake up brainwashed characters in Fortnite, players have to talk to these NPCs to make them snap out of it. Alternatively, players can eliminate NPCs that other gamers have hired, but this requires some luck when it comes to encountering them. |
|
Stage 4 - Destroy surveillance cameras |
Players will have to head back to Doomstadt, but this time they're not there to litter - they have to destroy surveillance cameras. |
|
Stage 5 - Defeat Mysterio |
Mysterio can be complicated to take down, as he creates two illusions to confuse players on which one is the real Mysterio. For some useful tips on how to take down the boss in Doomstadt, check out our guide on how to beat Mysterio in Fortnite. |
|
Stage 6 - Graffiti Dommstadt (4) |
After taking down Mysterio, gamers will have to leave their mark near the location. To complete this quest simply spray paint on any surface at Doomstadt. |
|
Stage 7 - Graffiti the Central Statue in Doomstadt |
There is a giant statue right in the center of Doomstadt - right where Mysterio usually wanders. Spray this statue to complete The Illusionist Quests in Fortnite. |
Rewards for Complete The Illusionist Quests
Finishing the seven stages grants players the Hopeful Llama spray, which is exactly like the spray they used to spray Doomstadt during the quests. On top of this, each quest is also worth 20,000 XP, which means players who get through all of the Illusionist Story Quests will receive 140,000 XP.
