Many players are excited to wrap Fortnite Shock 'N Awesome and move on to a completely different season theme. This guide tells players what they need to know about the end of Chapter 6 Season 4 and the start of The Simpsons mini-season.
When Does Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 4 End?
Chapter 6 Season 4 End Date & Time
Before The Simpsons season begins, Fortnite players have to say goodbye to Shock 'N Awesome, most commonly known as Chapter 6 Season 4. The final season of Chapter 6 is scheduled to come to an end on Saturday, November 1.
According to information on the in-game Battle Pass page, the pass will supposedly become unavailable at 10:30 AM ET. However, Epic Games has announced at 11 AM ET on the same day. Therefore, it is possible that players will no longer be able to initiate matchmaking once the clock marks 10:30 AM, but they should still be able to keep their game open to witness the event.
So, even though Chapter 6 Season 4 will most likely end at 11 AM ET on November 1, players should only be able to level up their account and enter a match until around 10:30 AM ET.

Downtime will begin once the season ends, and players will have to wait until servers come back up in order to load up Fortnite once again. According to a post made by the official Fortnite account on Instagram, players will be able to play the Fortnite x The Simpsons season on Saturday, November 1, at 5 PM ET.
It is hard to predict how long it'll take for servers to go up after downtime, but it's entirely possible that this is just an estimate, and they could return before 5 PM ET.
