Queue times are particularly extensive this time around because many players want to try out Chapter 5 Season 2. The ancient Greek mythology theme has been hyped for quite a while, so thousands of gamers are trying to get into the game at once. On top of this, given the unexpected delay of the start of Chapter 5 Season 2, it now starts on a Saturday, when a large number of players have more free time.

Gamers who are waiting in queue to get into Fortnite can attempt to bypass the queue. This method won't work all the time, but it's still worth a shot to try to play the new season as soon as possible.
