When Will Day of Doom Be Available in Fortnite?

Fortnite and Marvel have gone hand-in-hand throughout Chapter 5 Season 4. This season, also known as Fortnite Absolute Doom, has been completely Marvel-themed, and it's been hit among fans of both. Fortnite is introducing a Marvel Limited-Time Mode filled with heroic weapons and powers for fans to try out to take things to the next level.

When Will Day of Doom Go Live in Fortnite?

Downtime for patch v31.20 ended around 6 AM ET on September 17. Some of the previously confirmed content, such as the Iron Man Mark 45 skin and the Lost Isles update for LEGO Fortnite, became available right after servers went up. However, that was not the case with Day of Doom.

Day of Doom LTM will be available in Fortnite at 9 AM ET on September 17, 2024.

How to Play Day of Doom in Fortnite

Day of Doom should work like any other LTM, so gamers will mostly find it in the Popular or By Epic section of the Discovery tab. According to Epic Games, this is a 32-player large team game mode. There are two teams of 16 players: Doom's Henchmen vs the Avengers.

How Does Day of Doom Work?

Each team has a different objective in Day of Doom:

Doom's Henchmen: the first objective is to collect six Arcane Artifacts, as this makes it impossible for players on the opposite to continue to respawn. Then, they must eliminate all players on the Avengers team to win the game.
Avengers: continuously take down Doom's Henchmen until they've run out of respawns. The Avengers team must do this before the opposite team collects the Arcane Artifacts and eliminates every Avenger.

What Weapons Will Be in Day of Doom?

Since the game mode isn't available yet, it's not possible to confirm which Marvel weapons will be available in Day of Doom. However, leakers have been able to obtain this information by going through the update game files. Here are the weapons to expect in Day of Doom:

Until When Will Day of Doom Be Available?

Day of Doom is a Limited-Time Mode, so it is a temporary addition to Fortnite. It is unknown until when this game mode will be available - it could be around until the end of the season or simply until the next content update.
