Fortnite Galactic Battle is going out with a bang, and gamers should make sure that they're there for it. With June 7 now closer than ever and Chapter 6 Season 3 on the horizon, it is time for players to get ready for the end of Galactic Battle.
Fortnite: How To Get Free Galactic Battle Twitch Drop Items
Fortnite players can now claim a roster of free items for a limited time by tuning into their favorite Twitch streamers' live streams. Here's how.
Galactic Battle is coming to an end with an awesome live event that players definitely don't want to miss. Epic Games has confirmed the highly anticipated Death Star Sabotage live event in Fortnite, and this guide provides all the information on how to watch it, as well as its starting time.
How to Watch the Death Star Sabotage Event in Fortnite
To watch the Star Wars live event in Fortnite, players must enter the Death Star Sabotage experience, which will appear on the top row of the Discover page a couple of hours before it goes live.
Epic Games has put a countdown to the live event in the lobby and on the Battle Royale island, near Princess Leia's location - the Rebel Outpost northwest of Brutal Boxcars. This may lead to some fans thinking the live event island is available, but that is not the case; the Death Star Sabotage island will only be available in Fortnite at 12 PM ET on June 7.
Fortnite Death Star Sabotage Live Event Date and Time
Even though the Death Star Sabotage experience will become open to the public at 12 PM ET, the event won't begin immediately. So, if players want to avoid waiting for too long, they should begin matchmaking a few minutes before it begins. The Death Star Sabotage live event starts on June 7 at 2 PM ET.
Epic Games has advised players who want to watch the event on a mobile device to start matchmaking a little bit earlier to avoid queues, as they can lead to missing the event entirely.
Since the season will come to a close once the event is over, players want to make sure that they've obtained enough XP to unlock any Battle Pass items that they might want. The season won't shift exclusively for Battle Royale; Fortnite OG and LEGO Fortnite sessions are also coming to an end on June 7.
