Since Wolverine is one of the most recognizable faces in all of Marvel, it's no surprise that he now has 4 different skins in Fortnite, making him officially the most collabed character in Fortnite from Marvel's roster. It seems that Fortnite loves to add Marvel's roster of Mutants and X-Men members, and Wolverine's appearances continue to grow, paving the way for more Wolverine costumes of a different variety, whether those are comic appearances or Fortnite's own rendition of them.
Fortnite: Best Marvel Skins
Marvel has plenty of skins in Fortnite, ranging from comic appearances to the MCU, and here are some fan favorites.
There are a few different Wolverines in Fortnite, but not all of them are obtainable. Listed below, players will find every Wolverine skin in Fortnite and just how to get them. It's worth noting that some players might be disappointed with the answers for these outfits, but there is always hope for Wolverine's return.
How to Get Wolverine (Pen & Ink)
"The best at what he does, Bub."
- Introduced In: Chapter 5 Season 3
- Release Date: July 26, 2024
- How To Get: Purchased from the Item Shop for 2,000 V-Bucks
To celebrate the release of Marvel Studios' Deadpool & Wolverine, Fortnite and Marvel have brought out yet another Wolverine skin. Whilst the outfit wears the yellow and blue costume of Hugh Jackman's Wolverine featured in the movie, the distinct cel-shaded style dubbed Pen & Ink separates it from the Battle Pass exclusive version of the character seen years ago. Whilst it's a shame it's a cel-shaded style, it's still pretty cool, especially when going into duos with a matching Deadpool.
This Wolverine (Pen & Ink) skin costs 2,000 V-Bucks but comes with a few goodies to make it worth it. Players will receive a LEGO variant to use in LEGO Fortnite, as well as the Wade's Prank back bling which has 4 different drawings of Deadpool taped to Wolverine's back. The last two items are the most desirable, as Wolverine receives Wolverine's Claws as a pickaxe (which makes comic sound effects appear on screen), as well as the Snikt-ing Go Time emote, which showcases the unsheathing of the claws, and lastly, the Classic Yellow & Blue wrap to pay homage to Wolverine's color scheme. If players want to get a matching Deadpool, they can grab both in a 15-item bundle for 3,600 V-Bucks.
Wolverine (Pen & Ink) leaves the item shop on August 13 at 8 PM ET.
Players can also get a Deadpool version from the same Deadpool & Wolverine Bundle.
How to Get Weapon X
"Logan, the first Weapon X, codename "Wolverine"."
- Introduced In: Chapter 5 Season 3
- Release Date: July 2, 2024
- How To Get: Purchased from the Item Shop for 2,000 V-Bucks
Weapon X is a rather unique Wolverine skin to be added to Fortnite, and it features Wolverine just after escaping the facility that has bonded his skeleton with Adamantium. Complete with the famed metal helmet, packs, and plenty of wires, Weapon X is definitely going to be an outfit to reckon with, especially since he comes with his own Adamantium claws to be used as a pickaxe. The outfit has to be purchased in a 2,000 V-Bucks bundle, which will give players the skin, a LEGO variant for LEGO Fortnite, the Experiment X Gear back bling, Weapon X Claws pickaxe, and the X-Tracker wrap. Players can also take the helmet on and off in the edit styles options.
Weapon X was the U.S. Government's attempt at creating the perfect and willing super-soldier. This version of Wolverine is one at his most feral, in which his bones have been encased in Adamantium, and he has just escaped the torturous facility that has forever altered him. It's great to see this variant in Fortnite, and all its charm of the classic Weapon X era.

Wolverine's original comic attire from Marvel's 616 universe could be acquired exclusively in Chapter 2 Season 4, when Fortnite committed to their first Marvel season. Sadly, this version of Wolverine is now lost, and only players who obtained him during this time by purchasing the Chapter 2 Season 4 Battle Pass for 950 V-Bucks have him. It's a shame, as he looks great, and also comes with a Snikt! Built-in Emote that allows him to use his Adamantium Claws as a harvesting tool. Players who have not obtained this Wolverine have no other ways of obtaining him, but luckily there are a few other Wolverine variants that can be acquired.
This Wolverine is practically perfect, as it's taken straight from the Marvel pages, albeit with a divine Fortnite art-style twist. Players can enjoy different versions of this iconic character, from his sleeveless yellow and blue to his classic brown and orange, and of course, his jeans and tank top. This Wolverine provided a style for every type of fan, but there is more for those without it.
How to Get Wolverine Zero
"They call him Patch, and he's the best there is at what he does."
- Introduced In: Chapter 3 Season 3
- Release Date: August 1, 2022
- How To Get: Purchase the August 2022 Fortnite Crew Pack for $11.99
Wolverine Zero is another variant of Wolverine, but fans might be sad to learn that this outfit was another limited-time cosmetic that could have been earned back in August 2022. Players who purchased the Fortnite Crew Pack in August would have received Wolverine Zero, but as of right now, he has yet to return to the item shop. Whilst Fortnite Crew skins can enter the Item Shop, none of them actually have before, meaning players are missing out on the Wolverine Zero LEGO variant, the Muramasa Blade as both pickaxe and back bling and the Best Fight You Ever Had loading screen.
All 9 Wolverine Variants in Deadpool & Wolverine
Hugh Jackman is the iconic one-and-only Wolverine, and Deadpool & Wolverine features an abundance of the adamantium-infused X-Man.
Comic fans might be familiar with Wolverine Zero's outfit, as the eyepatch is commonly associated with Wolverine's alias, Patch. Patch has been used by Wolverine for decades, and has become his go-to disguise to hide who he truly is among those who hunt him in Madripoor. With the Wolverine Zero outfit, the Patch influence is clear, but the outfit instead is taken from his appearance in the Zero War comic, which saw Marvel x Fortnite collab together in a canon tie-in. Whilst Wolverine Zero doesn't come with his claws, he does come with a pretty cool-looking sword, and for players with the Snikt! Emote, they can use it for Patch.
