The next addition to the Icon Series of Fortnite skins is rumored to be confirmed after massive YouTuber and Twitch streamer Rubius posted a video to his channel seemingly teasing a skin based on himself to be added soon. So far, nothing of an official capacity has come out about the possibility of the Spanish and Norwegian Youtuber getting his own Fortnite collaboration, but one of his recent videos has lots of fans speculating that it may be on the way.

The Icon Series in Fortnite is a category of skins based on real-life celebrities and internet personalities whom developer Epic Games has brought to life in the battle royale game. In fact, some of the most-used skins in the game come from this series, which includes the likes of Travis Scott, Eminem, Ariana Grande, and massive YouTubers like Nick Eh 30 and MrBeast.

Rumor: Next Fortnite Music Collaboration Content Teased

A recent post from a well-known rapper suggests a potential future collaboration with Fortnite, generating speculation among fans.

Now, many are speculating that Rubius may be the next addition to the Icon Series after a video he shared on his YouTube channel teased something "massive" on the way following an announcement of a major Fortnite challenge he plans to complete. After a long sketch in which a banana turns into the Peely skin from Fortnite followed by the ominous tease went viral, fans in the comments and on Twitter were quick to fuel the rumors, which Rubius himself has done little to sway.

Rubius Teases "Massive" Fortnite Reveal

After renowned Fortnite leaker NotPalo reported the rumor on Twitter claiming that Rubius had teased a potential collaboration skin in the game, the YouTuber responded on a Twitch livestream and fanned the flames of speculation even more. Rather than denying it, Rubius simply addressed the audience and made a gesture implying that they should keep quiet, possibly teasing more information to come soon.

Now one of the most popular gaming channels on the platform, especially for Latin audiences, Rubius began his career on YouTube in 2006, posting clips and montages from video games like Skyrim and Grand Theft Auto 4. Today, he has over 40 million subscribers, putting him among the top 50 most popular channels on the platform and one of many prominent figures in the Fortnite community.

The last addition to the Icon Series of Fortnite skins was the content creator Nick Eh 30, who debuted in June with his own in-game outfit, pickaxe, and back bling, allowing fans to play as him in the game. It is unclear when more information about a potential Rubius skin may come about, if it is real, but in the meantime, Fortnite players have the current Pirates of the Caribbean collaboration along with the ongoing Battle Pass offering items from Fallout to keep busy with.
