There are over 500 cars in Forza Horizon 5, so trying to narrow down the fastest one could take individuals a long time. Thankfully, the Forza community are happy to share their collective findings with other players.
The fastest drag car in Forza Horizon 5 can actually be obtained for free if players put some time into a specific event, but it can also be bought outright from the Autoshow or Auction House if players have a few million Credits to spare.
The Fastest Drag Car in Forza Horizon 5
The fastest drag car is the Koenigsegg Jesko 2020, which is also the fastest car in Forza Horizon 5. It can be purchased from the Autoshow for 2.8 million Credits, or from the Auction House for slightly less. However, due to the car being preowned, it will probably have some Car Mastery perks like Wheelspins already used.
If players need some quick money to buy the Koenigsegg Jesko, they can take advantage of the unlimited money and Super Wheelspin exploit in Forza Horizon 5 by purchasing a Willys Jeep for only 40,000 Credits and spending 5 Skill Points on its Mastery Tree repeatedly to unlock cheap and easy Super Wheelspins. The Koenigsegg Jesko can also be earned as a free Accolade Reward if players get 3 Stars in every chapter of the "V10" Baja Adventure story.

The Koenigsegg Jesko may be the fastest Drag car in Forza Horizon 5, but there are other great picks that will also leave the competition in the dust, including:

Applying a custom Tune can enhance the effectiveness of these Drag cars even further, but just make sure not to change any of them into an X Class vehicle, or they won't be valid to use in the standard Event types. S2 is the highest Class of car available to use in Event Races.
These cars have a lot of speed, acceleration, and launch, making them ideal for posting a good Drag race time for the Leaderboards, but can also be used in other Events and for multiplayer in Forza Horizon 5. Speed Zone, Speed Traps, Open Racing, and Head-to-Head challenges are just some of the ways players can test these incredibly useful cars while exploring Playground Games' micro-version of Mexico.
