PC gamers regularly have free games to snag, especially if they are willing to use multiple storefronts. There are some PC gamers that swear by Steam and won't use anything else, but those individuals miss out on a lot of free games.
The Epic Games Store gives away new free games every single week. Not only that, but the Epic Games Store free game giveaways are predictable and reliable. Whereas Steam free games pop up at random, the Epic Games Store free games are given away every single Thursday at 10:00am CST. And when the Epic Games Store isn't in the midst of one of its mystery game promotions, EGS users even know a week in advance what to expect from the next batch of freebies.
Steam Deck Gets a Heavily Requested Feature
Valve announces that the Steam Deck handheld is finally getting a frequently requested feature that users have wanted for a long time.
Currently, there are five freebies available for PC gamers to claim spread between the Epic Games Store and Steam. On the Epic Games Store side of things, PC gamers can claim Felix The Reaper and the Nixie's Champions of Renown Bundle Pack for Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realm. The latter includes $100 worth of content, so fans of the game should definitely be sure to claim the freebie while it's still available. Epic Games Store users have until Thursday, November 13 to claim the latest freebies, at which point they will be cycled out and replaced by Scourgebringer, Songs of Silence, and Zero Hero. Those three will be free from November 13 to November 20, though it remains to be seen what will replace them.

The DLC pack is for Simon the Sorcerer Origins, and it is up for grabs until November 10 at 12:00pm CST. Free game OneShift will also be available until November 10 at the same time. However, free game Bulb Boy is only free until November 9 at 12:00pm CST, so PC gamers should make sure that they claim it ASAP.
