Developer and publisher QubicGames has just released Coloring Book for the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. As its name implies, Coloring Book is a chill 4-player co-op PlayStation 5 game that sees players coloring in a variety of drawings that range from cutesy ocean animals to cartoony sports cars. While its relaxing gameplay is a solid draw, it's Coloring Book's easy-to-obtain Platinum Trophy that will likely have many PS5 users picking up the free-to-play game.
QubicGames is best known for its wealth of casual games, often located on the Nintendo Switch's eShop but frequently ported to PC, PlayStation, and Xbox as well. Some of the developer/publisher's most notable titles include Robonauts, Om Nom: Run, and Hole io, which, according to QubicGames' website, have sold over 1 million copies collectively. Coloring Book is the latest title to release under QubicGames' banner.

Coloring Book Is a Free-To-Play Co-Op PS5 Game With an Easy Platinum Trophy
Though Coloring Book originally launched on Nintendo Switch back in November 2018, it's available now on PlayStation 5 and Xbox consoles, completely for free. In Coloring Book, up to four players can join forces to cooperatively color a plethora of family-friendly drawings using a palette of over 300 distinct colors and nine unique tools. While Coloring Book is primarily designed with children in mind, its calming gameplay can be enjoyed by just about anyone.
On top of its peaceful gameplay, Coloring Book offers an extremely simple and easy-to-grab Platinum Trophy. All players need to do to earn Coloring Book's Platinum Trophy is complete every page in the game, use 20 different colors on one drawing, use each painting tool once, and complete three drawings that only use shades of red, orange, and black, white and gray. Coloring Book has just 23 PS5 trophies in total including its Platinum, meaning it should only take a few hours to complete fully.
That said, there are technically 42 other trophies available in Coloring Book. These remaining trophies are all obtained by playing through Coloring Book's many DLC packs, with each one adding a range of new pages to complete. These DLC trophies aren't needed to unlock Coloring Book's Platinum, but if players want to see that "100%" mark next to the game's icon on their profile page, they'll need to purchase each of the free game's 13 add-ons.
Most of Coloring Book's DLCs can be purchased separately for $4.99 on the PlayStation US Store, with its Whiteboards add-on being the odd one out at $1.99. Alternatively, players eager to earn 100% may want to consider purchasing Coloring Book's Complete Bundle edition, which contains every DLC and adds 373 new images to color. Coloring Book: Complete Bundle usually retails for $24.99 on the PlayStation Store, but until January 19, users can knock 40% off that price if they're subscribed to PlayStation Plus, dropping it to $14.99.
