Frieren Season 2 Episode Count Has Been Confirmed

With the manga on break, the anime can reduce the deficit and get dangerously close. If that were to happen, then the third season of Frieren will take longer to release, probably sometime in 2028. So, the studio likely decided to reduce the number of episodes to maintain the distance.
While the episode count has been reduced, it doesn't mean that the animation quality will be compromised. After all. Madhouse is renowned for its high-quality work. The studio would never want to ruin one of its most successful projects by going below the standard.
