How to Answer All Riddles Correctly in Wuchang Fallen Feathers
There are three riddle doors in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers. Here are the correct answers to each of them and where players can find them.
For players planning on completing He Youzai's questline and acquiring the true ending, they must also complete Fang Yao's questline, as she gives an important quest item later in the game required for the ending.

Reverant Temple (Worship's Rise)
From the shrine, head down the stairs and turn right to exit the temple. Head right to find He Youzai, who will call out to Wuchang and give you the Bamboo Lantern and a Cornucopia Elixir.
The Bamboo Lantern can light dark environments and has unlimited uses, making it a great item to have on the hotbar to equip instantly.
Buddha Cliffs (Worship's Rise)
From the Buddha Cliffs shrine, head down the ladder and enter the cave in front of you. Here, you will learn your first Spell, and soon after, you will face the Tang Palace Maid. Once she has been defeated , head up the stairs and turn left to find the Lost Package item in the grass. This is a quest item you need to return to He Youzai, so make sure to pick it up.
Bandit Cave (Worship's Rise)
For the second interaction with He Youzai, you must first defeat Blightweaver – Great Centipede, who is located inside the Bandit Cave soon after reaching the bottom of the Mercury Workshop. Once the boss is dealt with, follow the main path, and after opening the door, you will find He Youzai on the other side. He will give you a Cornucopia Elixir and Records of the Southern Archipelago. After that, give him the Lost Package, and he will reward you with the following armor set:
- Pirate Hairpin
- Pirate Armor
- Pirate Bracers
- Pirate Boots
The shrine right after this interaction with He Youzai is a mimic monster, so be ready to fight it.
Reverant Temple (Worship's Rise)
After your fight with Commander Honglan, you will be teleported back to the Reverant Temple. Head to the bottom floor to find He Youzai, and talking to him will get you an Everblend Brew and a Cured Jerky.
Snowpeak Pass (Cloudspire)
From the shrine, head straight, then turn left as you approach the corruption-inflicting block. Follow the main path towards Cloudspire City, and along the way, you will find the NPC. Exhaust his dialogues to get a Cornucopia Elixir.

Shaft Entrance (Cloudspire)
Inside the Lost Shaft, you must go past the shrine and make your way to the area where you can find a lever puzzle. Follow the main path, and soon you will spot a stone door. After opening it, you will come across a small room that looks like a place where experiments took place. On one of the tables is the quest item, Mad Doctor’s Research Note, which you need to grab before progressing further into the Shaft.
Bride's Boudoir (Cloudspire)
Right before activating the Bride's Boudoir shrine, you will come across He Youzai on the right side before the bridge. Here, you can give him the Mad Doctor’s Research Note (acquired from the Shaft) and the Research Journal - Scrap 1 (which drops from the Mistress of the Night boss). You will receive a Cured Jerky, and he will mention Bai Mansion.
Battlefield Pass (Mt. Zhenwu)
From the Battlefield Pass shrine, head left and go inside the underground caves, which eventually lead outside to where you can find a Summoner enemy and a Medicine Case on the right that you need to return to Magalhaes. Continue forward, and before interacting with the ladder that leads down to the Refugee Camp, look towards the left to find Fang Yao and He Youzai standing next to some huts. Talk to him there to get a Cornucopia Elixir and progress his questline further.
Bai Mansion (Mt. Zhenwu)
From the Ferry Overlook shrine, head down, and at one end of the pier, you will find the Boatman standing next to a boat that you can take to Bai Mansion. If you are aiming to collect all the weapons for the Legendary Collector trophy/achievement, it is best to talk to the Boatman both before and after you deal with the boss at Bai Mansion.
Once you reach Bai Mansion, look to the left of the shrine to find He Youzai, who will give you a Cornucopia Elixir and tell you to summon him for the next boss fight.
Bai Mansion (Mt. Zhenwu)
After defeating Monstrous Toddler – Bai Kru, head back to He Youzai and give him the Research Journal – Scrap 2, which you acquired as a boss drop. He will give you a Cured Jerky, and you can proceed to the fourth region.

Annalum (Worship's Rise in Ruins)
After talking to the Storyteller near the Zhenwu Altar shrine and going past the point of no return, you will find yourself in Annalum. As you exit the house, to your immediate left will be Fang Yao and He Youzai. Talk to both of them, and He Youzai will give you another Cornucopia Elixir and mention meeting up at the Reverant Temple.
Reverant Temple (Worship's Rise in Ruins)
From the Reverant Temple shrine, head left to the previously inaccessible area to find Fang Yao sitting on the ground. Talk to her to get the Research Journal - Scrap 3 and Ring of Samsara - Cause.
Reverant Temple (Worship's Rise in Ruins)
Head inside the Reverant Temple, and on the top floor, you can find He Youzai. Exhaust his dialogues and give him the Research Journal - Scrap 3. He will give you the Ring of Samsara - Effect. Both of these rings are consumable items containing Red Mercury, but should not be consumed unless you have no intention of going for the true ending. If you are, however, keep them in your inventory so that you can use them later in the fifth region of the game to reform the Causality Key.
Capital Entrance (Bo Capital)
After reaching Bo Capital, interact with the shrine up ahead, then turn around to spot a cave entrance to the left. Follow the path and head down the spinal path until you reach an elevator, and sitting next to it is He Youzai. Talk to him to get the Belled Pinwheel quest item as well as the "Twirl the Pendant" gesture. You can use the gesture next to the blue glowing orb, and this will complete his final interaction.
