Narrow Stretch (Worship's Rise)
From the Lightzen Temple shrine, turn around and open the gate using the Lightzen Key, which drops from Master Raider – Man-eating Dhutanga. Follow the path, and you will soon come across Nian Suichang for the first time, standing next to a tree. Initiating a conversation with him gives you the Bone Whistle, a tool that allows you to summon companions during certain boss fights, provided you have progressed their questlines.
Shu Sanctum (Worship's Rise)
You'll find him standing next to the Shu Sanctum shrine. Talk to him and then head to the top floor of the Sanctum to fight Feathered Priest – Lu Bingzhang. You can summon Nian Suichang for this fight using the Bone Whistle.
Shu Sanctum (Worship's Rise)
After defeating Feathered Priest, you will get Mercurial Blood, which you can give to Nian, who is standing next to the shrine. He will comment on the elixirs and mention that he is returning to Reverant Temple.
Reverant Temple (Worship's Rise)
Go to the first floor of the temple, and you'll find Suichang standing near his sick brother. Talk to him, and he'll mention that his brother is getting better now, thanks to the elixirs, and you will receive a Kong Wine.
Reverant Temple (Worship's Rise)
After defeating Commander Honglan inside the Tang Emperor Palace, you'll find yourself in the Reverant Temple. Head down the stairs and go left to find him standing next to the closed gate leading to Cloudspire. Talk to him and he'll be deep in thought, trying to figure out how to open it. Use the Reverant Temple Key to unlock the gate, then speak to him again, and he'll give you Spicy Soup x5, which is quite useful in the next region.
Wuchang Fallen Feathers: All Panda Locations
Here are all the locations where players can find the Panda merchant in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers.
Hillswatch (Cloudspire)
After reaching Cloudspire, interact with the shrine and head up the stairs to follow the main path. Soon, you will spot Nian standing on the right. Talk to him and he will mention losing all his possessions. Go straight ahead, and right before the second shrine of the region, you will find an archer enemy standing next to a purple item. Pick up the item to obtain the Tattered Pack.
Hillswatch (Cloudspire)
After grabbing the Tattered Pack, head back to Nian Suichang and return it to him. Here, you will get the first dialogue choice of his questline:
- Expose Nian Suichang
- Remain Silent (Recommended)
These choices won't make a difference right at this moment, but will completely change the final interaction you have with him. The rewards at the end of the questline remain the same, so you don't have to worry about that. It is recommended that you choose the "Remain Silent" option.
Rebel Camp (Cloudspire)
Rebel Camp is an area you can reach from the Cloudspire Outskirts, and once there, defeat the enemy standing right next to the Shrine to get the Rebel Camp Key. Go down the ladder and head down the path on the left, being mindful of the Landmines along the way. You’ll find Suichang standing next to the boss gate, and he'll tell you to summon him to defeat General of the North – Ai Nengqi.
Once the boss has been defeated, make your way back outside the boss arena and talk to Suichang again. He'll give you Kong Wine x3.
Refugee Camp (Mt. Zhenwu)
To reach the Refugee Camp, you need to head through the underground caves next to the Battlefield Pass Shrine. Go down the ladder after meeting with He Youzai and Fang Yao, then cross the bridge to the other side. Right next to the campfire, you'll find Suichang sitting there. Talk to him and choose the "Remain Silent" option.
Refugee Camp (Mt. Zhenwu)
Defeat Bo Sorcerer in Avian Dwelling and make your way to the Main Rebel Camp. Before reaching the camp, you'll spot a wooden cart on your right that you can break to access a path leading up to the side of the Refugee Camp. Here, you'll find the Taoist inside the tent—give him the Broken Token. Suichang will be standing near the door that leads to the Refugee Camp Shrine. Talk to him to receive Niter Fire Pot x3 and proceed to the next interaction.
Best Armor to Negate Feathering Damage in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers
Here are all the best armor pieces for high Feathering negation to use during the hardest boss fights in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers.
Zhenwu Antechamber (Mt. Zhenwu)
After you have defeated South General – Liu Wenxiu, follow the main path up ahead, and just before turning right to explore more of the Temple, check the path on the left, which opens up another shortcut door to the Refugee Camp. Standing next to it is Suichang, seemingly displeased that you took his prey. He will then tell you to summon him whenever you fight the resurrected Zhang Xianzhong.
Altar Gate (Mt. Zhenwu)
Summon Nian Suichang for the Fierce Tiger boss fight. If you're also progressing through Huang Jian'e's questline, using the Bone Whistle will summon both of them for the fight.
Zhenwu Altar (Mt. Zhenwu)
After the boss fight with Sovereign – Zhang Xianzhong, make your way down from the shrine toward the area before the cave. Here, you will find the Storyteller ready to send you to the fourth region, which is also the point of no return, alongside Suichang.
Shu Sanctum (Worship's Rise in Ruins)
From the Shu Sanctum shrine, head upstairs and turn right to go up the hill. There will be a couple of enemies, but the main threat is the enemy up top pushing a boulder toward you. Avoid it by sticking to the right wall and making your way through the enemies to reach the very top. When you find yourself at the summit in the Statues area, you will witness one of two outcomes depending on the choice you made in Hillswatch (Cloudspire).
If you chose to expose Nian Suichang, he will be hostile, and you will have to defeat him. If you selected the other option, you will find him sitting at the edge of the ledge. Grab the "Sword of Exorcism" next to him and talk to him. Rest at a shrine and return to receive the following rewards:
- Sword of Judgement
- Zhanlu Sword
- Champion's Bamboo Hat
- Champion's Robes
- Champion's Bracers
- Champion's Boots
Annalum Courtyard (Worship's Rise in Ruins)
Head straight across the red branch next to where you last interacted with Nian Suichang to find an invisible bridge leading to the Annalum Courtyard shrine. Be careful, as the shrine is a mimic shrine monster that you must defeat first. After interacting with the shrine, you can go over to the nearby house and press the option to talk.
Nian Suichang will not respond, and this interaction is optional.
