In the Pit, also known as the Ground, Thought is considered a power source that can be turned into energy and used to influence the surroundings. While this can give rise to different phenomena, one noteworthy example is the emergence of a Vital Instrument, a weapon, that any object transforms into once enough love and care are poured into it. Enjin is associated with the Cleaners, a group of Givers who are primarily responsible for exterminating Trash Beasts. His Vital Instrument is known as the Umbreaker. It is a weathered umbrella that doubles in size as soon as Enjin decides to use it for offensive purposes. On the surface, the Umbreaker grants Enjin two abilities: the power to drill through most entities and to use the shape of the Vital Instrument to fly.
Interestingly, Enjin has modified his techniques to make them more combat-ready. He can attach a long wire to his weapon and then use it to fight multiple enemies at the same time without having to get closer to anyone. Moreover, he also uses his Vital Instrument to crash into the ground from high altitudes, causing significant damage. Both of these moves are quite effective and have helped him when things have gone south.
During his fight with the Trash Beasts, he even uses his Umbreaker for defensive purposes. Despite being an attacker-type object, it still works quite efficiently. Overall, the Umbreaker appears to be a well-rounded weapon that gives Enjin an edge over his adversaries. But it would be a mistake to assume that he relies only on his Vital Instrument in combat. Enjin is gifted with other abilities, too, that make him special.
