The Fairy update brought a bunch of big changes to Grow a Garden, including new crafting recipes, plants, and pets. One of the most notable additions was the ability to feed certain NPCs to gain access to new shop items, although doing so may be a little confusing for some players.

To feed an NPC, players will need to give them cooked food to increase their friendship level. However, with the cooking event no longer running, many Roblox players have been left wondering how to get cooked food in Grow a Garden without Chris P's cooking pot. Thankfully, it's pretty simple.

How to Cook in Grow a Garden

In order to get cooked food, Grow a Garden players will need to get their hands on a cooking kit by completing some of the achievements in the Garden Guide. The easiest way to get a cooking kit is to complete all five of the common achievements, although cooking kits will also be awarded to those who complete all of the Rare and Mythical achievements. After claiming their reward, players will need to place the cooking kit cosmetic somewhere in their garden and then approach it with an ingredient in their hand. After adding all of the ingredients needed for one of the recipes listed below, it's a simple case of hitting the green "Cook" button and then waiting for the food to be ready.

Each cooked food item that players give to an NPC will add a set amount of points to their friendship meter, with the exact number determined by the rarity of the dish. Common food will add two points, while Transcended dishes are worth nine. With this in mind, those looking to fill up the meter as quickly as possible should focus on cooking high-rarity dishes.
