In a new announcement, Netmarble unveiled Game of Thrones: Kingsroad's May 21 release date, which would see the game's PC, Android, and iOS versions go live in select regions. It's important to note that certain countries in Asia are expected to receive the open-world game "at a later date," owing to some localization-related optimizations still to be made. For future updates, the Netmarble team underlined that main episodes and new parts of the map, alongside extra content such as the Altar of Memories dungeons, will be added to the game. Alongside the newest notice, the Game of Thrones: Kingsroad devs also shared a brand-new trailer narrated by Jon Snow, which showcased the forthcoming title's various aspects, from its combat to the cast of characters.

Not only does the new Game of Thrones title support cross-progression between different platforms, but the progress made during the early access period can also be used in the official build, allowing players to continue right where they left off during the beta. Those who purchase the Founder's Pack at any point before Game of Thrones: Kingsroad's launch are also eligible for these rewards.
Throughout its beta period, Game of Thrones: Kingsroad's Steam rating has languished at "Mixed" based on feedback from a little over a thousand users. Many of the critical user reviews for the game have called out the devs for implementing excessive microtransactions.
