Game of Thrones: Kingsroad offers fans of the series the chance to build their own legacy across the lands of Westeros and beyond. The Action Adventure, RPG sees players creating their own character and embarking on an action-packed journey through numerous regions. A familiar cast of characters is along for the ride, with cameos from Jon Snow himself, as well as fan-favorite Samwell Tarly, showing up in the early hours of the adventure. Those just beginning their journey face a difficult decision as they'll be given three classes to pick from. The Sellsword, Knight, and Assassin all have their own unique skills and playstyle. Here's a rundown of each class available in Game of Thrones: Kingsroad.

Sellsword

The Sellsword class represents the largest and most aggressive of the group, with a bulky character design and stacking damage modifiers. Excelling in AOE-based abilities and sweeping attacks, the Sellsword uses a large two-handed axe to slice through their foes. Players looking for a battle-hardened Warrior that will allow them to cleave through hordes of lesser enemies and do respectable damage to bosses should consider picking up the Sellsword.

Class-Specific Passives

The Sellsword has two class-specific passive abilities with Shock and Hitstun Immunity.

Shock

Can stack the Shock modifier on the enemy up to 6 times. Shock then transforms into Destruction at max stacks. Shock will not build when destruction is active.

  • Shock: +2% Damage Taken for each stack.

Hitstun Immunity

Sellsword gains immunity to normal attacks.

The Knight is perhaps the most balanced of the three classes, giving players access to solid offense and defense by way of dazing attacks and parries. The Knight attacks with a two-handed sword and excels at handling both groups of enemies and bosses thanks to their timed parries and damage-decreasing abilities.

Class-Specific Passives

The Knight has two class-specific passive abilities with Valor and Ignite.

Ignite

Although they lack the sweeping strikes and AOE potential of the Sellsword or the defensive capabilities of the Knight, they can quickly decimate single targets and elite enemies thanks to their quick attacks and stacking damage modifiers.

The Assassin has two class-specific passive abilities with Sanguine Crush and Poison.

Sanguine Crush

The Assassin has the ability to stack Bloodburst on enemies up to 12 times.

  • Skills can be used to remove the Bloodburst and inflict damage proportionate to the amount of stacks removed.
  • Bloodburst: Deals damage equal to 30% of Attack Power per stack when stacks are removed with a skill.

Poison

The Assassin will inflict Poison stacks on the enemy up to 5 stacks. At maximum stacks the Poison transforms into Poison Stun.

  • Poison Corrosion can also be stacked through the use of skills.
  • Poison Stun: Applies a 5-second stun to the enemy.
  • Poison Corrosion: Applies 5 seconds of Daze Damage. Daze Damage is at maximum during this duration.
