After several weeks in quarantine, and two free of symptoms, actor Kristofer Hivju and his wife Gry Molvær Hivju have announced that they've made a full recovery from COVID-19. Hivju, who is perhaps best known for his role as flame-haired wildling Tormund Giantsbane in Game of Thrones, first tested positive with the virus back in March, though only with mild symptoms.

He was still working at the time of his diagnosis, filming for the second season of Netflix's hit fantasy adaptation, The Witcher. Not long after Hivju's diagnosis, production on the new season was officially shut down to prevent further infection.

It was first announced that Hivju had joined the cast of the novel and video-game adaptation back in February, where it was revealed he would be playing the part of Nivellen. While not a character that appears directly in the three Witcher videogames, Nivellen's story from the books has influenced several side-quests.

It's unclear when production will continue on the project, but Hivju has made it clear on Instagram that he and his family are planning on remaining in self-isolation for the time being. Lockdown restrictions caused by the Coronavirus outbreak look set to continue for some time yet, and will most likely continue to cause delays in TV, movie, and game productions.
