This week saw one of the most anticipated remasters of the last few years release, with Mass Effect Legendary Edition storming store shelves so fans could once again journey across the galaxy with Commander Shepard. Of course, there was plenty of other video game news for Cameron and Anthony to discuss too, all condensed into one hour-and-a-half show.
Kicking things off, Summer Game Fest's schedule has been revealed, boasting an impressive lineup of game companies that will be featured as partners. The show starts just a few days before E3, so it's unclear just how many major reveals fans will be getting. That being said, there are promises of new world premiers, which is an exciting thought.
On top of that, EA is forming a new studio with a Monolith Productions developer, who lead the development on the Shadow of Mordor games. While the nemesis system has been patented, meaning it won't appear, there's still some other exciting aspects. It's an open-world action-adventure game, but that's about as much information as is currently known.
Warner Bros. Games is getting a bit of a shakeup, as the cluster of studios is, in part, being integrated with Discovery to form a new entertainment company. Additionally, Starfield might not release until 2022, and there's some more evidence that Game Pass has been conceptualized for the Nintnedo Switch.
