It's been a long journey to get here, the 64th episode of The Best War Games Arcade. After more than a year of new episodes dropping each week, it's time to say goodbye to one half of the dynamic duo that has been the show. This week is Cameron's final episode, with a heartfelt thank you awaiting listeners in the final minutes.
But, goodbyes aside, there's plenty of news to talk about this week. First up, PlayStation had a State of Play showing off some major upcoming games. There was a bit of everything featured during the show, with new trailers for big games like Forspoken and Ghostwire Tokyo releasing . There was, however, the omission of the rumored Project Spartacus.
Additionally, God of War may have a TV show in the works at Amazon, according to a report from Deadline. While it hasn't been confirmed, the project is said to be in the negotiation stages, which means nothing would come of it for quite some time. However, it does sound fitting given current trends.
Plus, Gotham Knights finally has a release date. The upcoming project was initially slated for 2021, but was pushed back last year. Now launching on October 25, 2022, it will mark one of the first big games coming in fall 2022. The jury is still out on when Hogwarts Legacy will release, however, though WB Games has promised that it will release this year. All that in more in this week's episode.
Finally, Fallout New Vegas 2 is reportedly in early talks, but fans shouldn't expect to hear anything soon. It's still firmly a rumor, but it could mean that Obsidian gets to make the sequel that many fans have been waiting for for over a decade.
