It appears that another fan-favorite Xbox franchise might be coming to PlayStation in the future.
Longtime insider Jeff Grubb claimed that Xbox is considering bringing Gears of War to PlayStation, but did not claim that Xbox has finalized this decision. However, signs indicate that Gears of War 6's development is moving ahead at full steam.
Gears of War 6 releasing in 2025 or later would create the longest gap between mainline Gears of War games since the franchise began. After recent claims, it's possible that the anticipated follow-up game will see a widespread launch across multiple platforms.
