Bizarrely, the host of the lobby is still getting the achievement progress, but everyone else is left behind. This is particularly annoying for grindy achievements like the iconic "Seriously..." Which requires players to kill a whopping 10,000 enemies in multiplayer.
It's worth remembering that this is Gears of War's debut on PlayStation, so it needs to leave a positive impression on gamers going forward. It's rumored that there are more Gears of War games planned for PlayStation in the future, so it's a shame that it's plagued by this new problem, even if it won't be a massive issue for gamers who aren't particularly trophy-focused.
