Players will get their first view of a Corpser in the opening chapter of Gears of War: Reloaded, although it's not until near the end of the game's third act that they'll actually get to fight one. For those who don't know what they're doing, the Corpser boss fight can be fairly challenging, not to mention a little frustrating.

This is because Corpsers are heavily armored, meaning that any shots to their legs or face will just end up bouncing off them. Thankfully, though, there are a couple of weak points that Gears of War: Reloaded players can target to bring the mighty behemoth down fairly quickly, and, in doing so, unlock the Broken Fingers Achievement.

How to Beat the Corpser in Gears of War: Reloaded

In order to beat the Corpser in the Angry Titan chapter of Gears of War: Reloaded, players will first need to shoot its underbelly. To do this, they can either wait for it to lift up one of its legs or shimmy around and look for a small gap through which to aim. They'll know when they're targeting the right spot as their aiming reticule will turn red.

After unloading a few rounds into the Corpser's underbelly, it will lift up its head as it cries out in pain, allowing players to shoot it in the chin. Once a few shots have hit their target, the Corpser will begin to back away from Marcus and Dominic. If players repeat this cycle three times, the Corpser will end up on a metal platform, at which point, a horde of Wretches will appear.

To finish off the Corpser once and for all, players should turn their attention to the metal platform on which it's now standing and the two smashable clamps that are securing the platform to the ground. At this point, they can either unload a few clips into each clamp or goad the Corpser into attacking them with its leg jabs.

Once both clamps have been destroyed, a cut-scene will play out, and players will unlock the Broken Fingers Trophy / Achievement. To bring the chapter to an end, they'll just need to head off in the direction from which Baird and Cole just arrived.
