How to Beat Berserker Second Encounter in Gears of War: Reloaded

Players will first encounter the Berserker in the final chapter of Act 1: China Shop of Gears of War: Reloaded. While the encounter is brief, it requires players to goad the boss into doors and bring it out in the open to defeat it using the Hammer of Dawn. This is the only strategy to defeat the boss, as regular weapons won't affect it.

Following a similar pattern, the second encounter with the Berserker occurs in the second chapter of Act 4: Bad to Worse, where the boss unexpectedly shows up to attack players. This is a rather tricky encounter as players can't bring the boss into the open. So, they'll need to improvise and clear the skies for the Hammer of Dawn to work properly. Here's how to defeat the Berserker in the second encounter in the Bad to Worse chapter.

Bring Berserker Into the Second Greenhouse

While you're progressing through the chapter, you'll enter an area with two interconnected greenhouses. As you try to reach the other greenhouse building, the Berserker will block your path.

The goal here is to evade the Berserker and enter through the doorway it spawned in and reach the other greenhouse building.

Once you're in the second greenhouse building, try to position yourself in front of a building column, and wait for the Berserker to charge at you. As soon as the Berserker starts charging at you, dodge at the last moment to allow it to break the building column.

The building column will also shatter the glass roof of the greenhouse above, allowing you to use the Hammer of Dawn on the Berserker in that spot.

You'll have to act quickly as the Berserker will only be staggered for a couple of seconds. After the Hammer of Dawn is charged, it will start nuking the boss and burn it beyond recognition.
