Gears of War: Reloaded is a full and faithful remaster of Cliff Bleszinski's 2006 title, Gears of War. Through the power of Unreal Engine, the game delivers stunning visuals, refined gameplay, and a bunch of quality-of-life updates, allowing players to experience one of the best and most influential third-person shooters of all time like never before. Given that this is a remaster rather than a remake, though, there are certain things that haven't changed.

Gears of War Campaign Tier List

Over nearly 19 years, the Gears of War series has featured numerous campaigns that can be ranked by their gameplay and narrative storylines

Most notably, the Gears of War: Reloaded chapter list is identical to the one found in the Ultimate Edition of the game, and the amount of time that it takes for players to complete the story remains unchanged as well. As such, those revisiting the title should already know how many chapters there are in Gears of War: Reloaded and how long it takes to beat them, but for those new to the franchise, the answers to both of these questions can be found below.

How Long Does it Take to Beat Gears of War: Reloaded? (Length / HLTB)

gears-of-war-reloaded-ending

It will take most players between six and eight hours to complete Gears of War: Reloaded. Although the game does feature collectibles, players generally won't need to go too far out of their way to find all of the COG Tags, so a 100% run will likely clock in at around the same time. As is often the case, playing the game on harder difficulty settings may increase the length of the campaign a little, just as working through it with a friend in co-op mode has the potential to shave a bit of time off. Either way, though, Gears of War: Reloaded remains a pretty short game by modern standards.

Unlike in previous iterations of the game, the Insane difficulty setting is unlocked by default, meaning it's possible to achieve 100% completion in a single playthrough.
