Gege Akutami answered a lot of questions about the ending of Jujutsu Kaisen, and the biggest one was related to Gojo Satoru's defeat. Previously, fans had been under the impression that Gojo Satoru lost because Sukuna was superior to him. But Gege Akutami revealed that Gojo lost because he let his guard down. So, Sukuna would never have won if Gojo had been more careful.

This decision has not gone down well with fans, as it has changed their perception of Gojo Satoru. Many of them even said that Gege Akutami should stop talking about Gojo's fate completely. They will be hoping that Gege will listen to them and focus his energy elsewhere.

MAPPA has done a fabulous job with the first two seasons, and there is a great chance that the third installment will be just as good. MAPPA even disclosed a new visual for the Culling Game arc featuring Itadori Yuji. However, the studio did not disclose a release date for the new season. It is possible that MAPPA will provide an update later this year.

For the time being, fans can focus on the compilation film that is being released in May 2025. The film will cover the Hidden Inventory arc, which is also known as the Gojo's Past arc. The film will likely be longer than an hour, and some of the scenes will be remade. Despite being a compilation film, there are rumors that it could end up shattering several records, and given the popularity of the series, it's not hard to believe.
