While the Pyro Archon is expected to be a must-pull event banner in Genshin Impact, there is another character from Natlan that players ought to consider: Xilonen, a 5-Star Geo Sword, featured prominently in the recent Ignition teaser for Version 5.0. According to FouL, and confirmed by a group of other leakers, this character is slated to be a universal Support. Not only does her ability kit feature Resistance Shred, but her Elemental Burst provides bonuses for the on-field carry based on the elements of Xilonen's party members.
Xilonen Is a Universal Support Character Coming in Genshin Impact Version 5.1
Xilonen's ability kit has remained in Version 5.0 for an inexplicable reason, which has allowed leakers to obtain concrete information about her Constellations, Ascension Passives, and overall combat abilities. Xilonen's main gimmick is that she owns three elemental jewels which light up according to the elements of her party members. When entering the Nightsoul state during her Elemental Skill, she generates an aura that shreds the elemental resistance of enemies based on the color of her jewels. During Xilonen's Elemental Burst, her Leopard Spirit provides bonuses to the on-field character, which are once again determined by the elements lighting up the jewels.
What makes Xilonen's ability kit brilliant is that she works well in Mono Geo, Navia Crystallize, and non-Geo teams. Given that players have long wished for an overhaul of the Geo element in Genshin Impact, Xilonen may just be the answer to their plight. While there is still ample time for her ability kit to undergo changes in the beta, the initial impressions have been overwhelmingly positive. Version 5.1 is expected to launch on October 11, 2024.
