When Is Genshin Impact 5.8 Coming Out?

Genshin Impact 5.8 is coming out on July 29, 2025, for players around the American timezone (UTC-4 or earlier). In contrast, those in the European or Asian time zones (UTC-3 or later) will have the patch on July 30, 2025.

UPDATE: Genshin Impact 5.8 maintenance has ended and is now available to play.

The 5.8 maintenance is expected to run for five hours, and 300 Primogems will be rewarded once the Genshin Impact patch is up. For every hour above the five-hour expected time, HoYoverse will compensate players with 60 Primogems.

Ineffa Debut	Citlali Rerun

Ineffa banner will come out on July 29, 2025, the same time as the Genshin 5.8 release date. Please note that European and Asian players will get the patch on July 30 due to timezone differences. Featured alongside Ineffa is the rerun of Citlali in Genshin Impact.
