With many months of underwater exploration development in Genshin Impact, it’s no surprise that the surroundings are as astonishing as the land above. From the flora to the fauna, it’s easy to get lost in the mesmerizing diving experience.
Of course, just like any other area, the underwater section of Genshin Impact Fontaine also comes with Chests and challenges. Among the many challenges people will find is a task to activate all resonance points with Blubberbeast Sonar skill, which can be done with the following steps.
How To Activate All Resonance Points With Blubberbeast Sonar In Genshin Impact
To activate all resonance points in Genshin Impact, first, players need to borrow the Blubberbeast Sonar ability from a Blubberbeast, then use the obtained skill to hit the nearby conches.
Here’s a complete step-by-step guidance for this task:
- Find a sea lion-like creature, then use the "Normal Attack" button to borrow the Blubberbeast’s power
- Start the challenge to gain insight into the resonance point’s locations
- Hold the Blubberbeast Sonar power and hit the conches with it until all the conch are resonating
- The conch will successfully resonate if players can see circular beating around the conch’s location in Genshin Impact
- If players don’t know where the resonance point is, they can either use Elemental Sight or swim back to the challenge mechanism and choose to show all the points again. The former is highly recommended as it’s more practical and accurate
- After all resonance points are activated, a Chest should appear as a reward for finishing the challenge
Blubberbeast In Fontaine
Blubberbeasts are creatures that resemble sea lion or seal to some degree. Their primary ability is to release a constant wave of sonar that deals minor damage, but can be used with no cooldown and is great against small destructible objects or weak underwater enemies.
Blubberbeast’s Sonar can also go through objects, allowing people to activate mechanisms behind a gate. These mechanisms can usually be revealed by Echoing Conch in Genshin Impact, which will show resonance points that mark notable objects in the area. While entering some structures in the underwater area, players may also meet an injured Blubberbeast that needs taking care of.
Apart from the Blubberbeasts, the underwater Fontaine also includes other creatures that resemble real-life animals like jellyfish and seahorses. Small schools of fish also exist, although many of them are not interactable and only exist as a decoration to make the exploration feel vivid and alive. One circle of fish called the Recovery Orbs, however, can be interacted with and can be used to heal and restore stamina in Genshin Impact’s underwater exploration.
Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
