A new Genshin Impact trailer has officially revealed the element of one of the upcoming characters named Aino. Genshin Impact has already announced the arrival of a new major region, which is widely considered the most exciting annual event, as it introduces tons of new content, from new explorable terrain to powerful roster additions.
The most recently confirmed character is Ineffa, a new five-star character who will join the roster in the upcoming Version 5.8, the last update before the next major region arrives. While there is a lot of hype surrounding Ineffa, one of her recent promotional videos has revealed an important detail about another upcoming character: Aino.
Genshin Impact Leaks Three New Characters for Version 6.0
A reliable source in the Genshin Impact community reveals the rarity and elements of the two characters who will debut with Lauma in Version 6.0.
As usual, before each character’s official arrival, Genshin Impact releases a couple of promotional videos that reveal additional details about the character. HoYoverse’s most recent trailer, titled "Ineffa: Essentials for Home and Travel," also featured another character named Aino, who seems to be close to Ineffa. Fans noticed that in a few frames, Genshin Impact revealed that Aino is carrying a Hydro Vision, indicating that she will wield Hydro elemental powers. Based on her design and the way HoYoverse has presented her so far, players suspect that, unlike Ineffa, Aino will have a lower, four-star rarity. She is also rumored to be a new support character in Genshin Impact who could have great synergy with Ineffa.
Genshin Impact: Aino Element Officially Confirmed
One of the main reasons the two might have strong on-field synergy is that Ineffa’s go-to elemental reaction is Electro-Charged, which can be triggered by combining her Electro abilities with Aino’s Hydro element. At the moment, there is not much official information about Aino, other than the fact that she works for the Clink-Clank Krumkake Craftshop, located in Genshin Impact's Nod-Krai region. It’s expected that the Traveler will eventually be able to explore this location once Nod-Krai is officially released.
This also adds credibility to previous rumors suggesting that Ineffa will be one of the characters who introduces players to the Nod-Krai region. Overall, fans seem very excited about the upcoming updates, as HoYoverse has already teased the arrival of some of the game’s most legendary characters, such as Varka and Alice. Varka is the long-awaited Grandmaster of the Knights of Favonius, currently on an expedition north of Genshin Impact's Anemo nation, which explains his absence from the game so far.
Both he and the legendary Genshin Impact mage Alice were finally revealed in the recent Moonlit Ballad of the Night trailer, which usually indicates that they will play a role in the upcoming storyline. The trailer also featured several notable antagonist characters, including the Harbingers Columbina and Sandrone.
