As Travelers wander around in Chenyu Vale, they’ll come across an Ancient City Key hidden with a Chizhang Map behind a small puzzle in Genshin Impact. Once you solve that puzzle, it will lead to a treasure locked behind an ancient door that needs the key you just found.
It’s a small adventure that leads to a couple of 
Dull Blades and a few Primogems in Genshin Impact. Unsurprisingly, both the Ancient City Key and the treasure room are all located in the ruins around Chizhang Wall.
Genshin Impact: How To Investigate The Stone Shrine (Floating Jade, Treasure of Chenyu)
There are two stone shrines to investigate in the Floating Jade, Treasure of Chenyu quest; one has a Jade Incense Cauldron puzzle in Genshin Impact.
Ancient City Key And Chizhang Map Locations In Genshin Impact
To get the Ancient City Key and Chizhang Map in Genshin Impact, head to the ruin directly west of Yaodie Valley.
There, you’ll immediately be greeted by a Jade Incense Cauldron in front of a locked room. To open the gate, simply stand at the end of the small Cauldrons and call the adeptal energy so that the energy passes through the small Cauldrons, lighting them up. The light ball should pass through both small Cauldrons to unlock the gate and reveal the Chest behind.
Open the Genshin Impact Chest inside the unlocked gate, and players will get two items, Chizhang Map and Ancient City Key. The map describes the location of the supply room, and where players can find the key. So, according to the map, players need to go to the third ruins to the southwest to raid the ancient Millelith’s supply room.
After getting the map, there’s another Exquisite Chest in the area that’s locked behind the same puzzle. To unlock it, players need to use the adeptal energy they used to open the first gate.
To solve this other puzzle, move behind the two small Cauldrons closest to the gate’s Jade Incense Cauldron. Call for the light ball and it will light up both small Cauldrons. Next, stand behind the final small Cauldron and pass the adeptal energy to the Jade Incense Cauldron across.
Where To Use The Ancient City Key In Genshin Impact
Head to the spot drawn on the map, which is the ruins southeast of Chizhang Wall and northwest of Mt. Xuanlian. Enter the fort from above, and there should be a locked room somewhere past the walls. The door shouldn’t be hard to find since there are three beautiful Chests behind, one Precious and two Common ones.
For finding the items left behind by the Millelith, players will earn the At the Construction of the Endless Wall achievement in Genshin Impact that gives five 
Primogems when it’s claimed.
