A new Genshin Impact leak has revealed that Arlecchino will receive an interesting change to her swapping animation in the upcoming Version 5.4. Arlecchino has been a part of Genshin Impact since the previous Fontaine arc, which portrayed her as the main villain.
Arlecchino also belongs to the Eleven Fatui Harbingers, a group of high-ranking officers who work for Tsaritsa, Genshin Impact's current Cryo Archon. Even though the current storyline completely revolves around the game's most recent additions, Citlali and Natlan's Archon Mavuika, it seems like HoYoverse is about to make adjustments to some of their previous playable units.

A new Genshin Impact leak reveals more information about four new characters who should join the roster in the next few months.
A new leak from Firefly News that was shared on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit by ISRUKRENG has revealed an interesting QoL change for the famous five-star Pyro user Arlecchino that should arrive in update 5.4. The leak shows that Arlecchino will receive an interesting indicator that will appear above her model once she is swapped out. While the leak does not confirm what this indicator will represent, most fans seem to agree that it will most likely reveal if Arlecchino's Bond of Life levels are enough to trigger her Pyro infusion Passive Effect. Similar to Natlan's Nightsoul system, Genshin Impact's Bond of Life mechanic is exclusive only to some Fontaine characters, and it essentially works as a reverse shield, preventing characters from being healed. Instead of increasing HP when healing occurs, the character's BoL bar will be reduced.
Genshin Impact Leaks: Arlecchino's New QoL Change Explained
Many fans seem to like this change, and while it won't directly increase Arlecchino's damage potential, it will probably make her significantly easier to use. Some players have pointed out that this effect will be most useful during chaotic fights in which players have to pay attention to multiple targets and status effects at the same time. Since her release, Arlecchino has already received multiple similar changes, which is uncommon for playable characters in Genshin Impact.
The main reason for Arlecchino's multiple adjustments is probably that she has one of the most complicated character kits in the game. Despite this, she remains one of the fan-favorite playable units in the community and is widely regarded as one of the best Pyro DPS characters in Genshin Impact.
Some fans suggested that HoYoverse introduced this change just in time since she's scheduled to appear on a Limited Character Banner in Genshin Impact Version 5.3. The recently held Special Program event confirmed that Arlecchino will be part of the second banner cycle, which should drop around January 22. Genshin Impact also revealed that Arlecchino will be paired with another Fontaine character, the famous Champion Duelist known as Clorinde.
