Genshin Impact has revealed the entire lineup of 5-Star and 4-Star characters coming to the Event Banners in Version 6.1. With Version 6.1 coming out on October 22, 2025, Genshin Impact has done a deep dive for most of its content, from the Archon Quest, to Nefer, and especially the Miliastra Wonderland. While most players will no doubt be excited about trying the new Dendro hypercarry, the introduction of an ambitious sandbox mode with Miliastra Wonderland will likely define Version 6.1 in the long term.
As for the Event Banners for Version 6.1, players can expect to see Nefer and Furina in the first half, and Arlecchino and Zhongli in the second half. Despite receiving significant nerfs throughout her beta, Nefer in Genshin Impact is still slated to rank favorably compared to other hypercarries. While she won't be hitting Skirk or Mavuika numbers, Nefer is estimated to be around Varesa's level in the meta. Her gameplay consists of generating Dendro Cores to fuel her Charged Attacks, but the main drawback of Nefer is that she requires Lauma to reach her full potential.
Genshin Impact Leaks Free Character for Version 6.1
Recent information from the Genshin Impact beta reveals that players will be able to obtain a free character in Version 6.1 via its Flagship Event.
Genshin Impact: Version 6.1 Banner Characters
First Half
- Nefer – 5-Star Dendro Catalyst
- Furina – 5-Star Hydro Sword
- Xingqiu – 4-Star Hydro Sword
- Collei – 4-Star Dendro Bow
- Yao Yao – 4-Star Dendro Polearm
Second Half
- Arlecchino – 5-Star Pyro Polearm
- Zhongli – 5-Star Geo Polearm
- Lan Yan – 4-Star Anemo Catalyst
- Yun Jin – 4-Star Geo Polearm
- Rosaria – 4-Star Cryo Polearm
Thanks to a combination of datamining and official news, Genshin Impact players now have the full slate of featured characters for Version 6.1. As revealed by Genshin Impact across social media, the first half will see Yao Yao, Xingqiu, and Collei join Nefer and Furina. This leaves Lan Yan, Yun Jin, and Rosaria for the second half alongside Arlecchino and Zhongli. As 4-Star characters in Genshin Impact, Lan Yan and Xingqiu stand out in this banner cycle – with Xingqiu being a decent teammate for Nefer, and Lan Yan being one of the strongest Shield Supports in the game.
Players who own Furina and wish to play Nefer can look forward to the Weapon Banner in the first half of Version 6.1, as not only will it feature both Signature Weapons, but it will also introduce a set of new Nod-Krai weapons with powerful bonuses. However, given that Version 6.1 won't feature a map expansion, players should keep in mind that the update will give them fewer Primogems in Genshin Impact compared to the previous two patches. With Columbina expected to join the playable cast in Version 6.3, fans should spend their Intertwined Wishes wisely.
On the other hand, Version 6.2 is rumored to feature Durin and Jahoda as newcomers, with Venti and Escoffier in Genshin Impact getting their reruns. Version 6.1 is launching on October 22, 2025, and is expected to last until December 3, 2025.
