The best weapon for Fischl in Genshin Impact highly depends on which role she’s taking in the team. Obviously, for the main DPS build, Fischl's weapon relies on damage buffs of her Normal Attack. Meanwhile, for Sub-DPS/Support build, it’s Oz’s damage that’s the main focus. The Raven provides many damage bonuses and easy access to Electro Elemental Reactions, making it crucial in specific team compositions.
The best weapons for each role are listed below.
Main DPS Fischl
When Fischl takes the Main DPS role, players should mostly count on her Normal Attacks to inflict Physical damage to opponents. To take full advantage of this talent, choose one of these Bows.
Thundering Pulse
- Base ATK: 608
- Sub-Stat: 66.2% Crit Dmg
- Effect: +20% ATK. Gain 1 stack in the following scenarios: Normal Attack deals DMG (stack lasts 5s), casting Elemental Skill (stack lasts 10s); Energy is less than 100% (stack disappears when Energy is full). Each stack's duration is calculated independently. At stack level 1/2/3, increases Normal Attack DMG by 12/24/40%.
Originally introduced alongside Yoimiya, Thundering Pulse offers a great deal of damage to any archer that wishes to dominate with their Normal Attacks. The Bow also offers Fischl a steady buff for her other Skills with its massive 66.2% Crit Dmg and 20% ATK buffs. Players need to learn how Thundering Pulse buffs are obtained to keep Fischl at the highest stacks possible.
Alternatively, Skyward Harp can be a better choice if Travelers are struggling with Fischl’s Critical Rate. Skyward Bow's passive will benefit from Fischl’s Physical Damage Bonus if the Prinzessin is built with a Physical Goblet.
Rust
- Base ATK: 510
- Sub-Stat: 41.3% ATK
- Effect: Increases Normal Attack DMG by 40% but decreases Charged Attack DMG by 10%.
Rust is one of the best 4-star Bows available in Genshin Impact. It carries a massive increase to the wielder’s Normal Attack damage. When using Rust on Fischl, players should stay away from charging her arrows and focus on spamming her Normal Attacks.
Mitternachts Waltz
- Base ATK: 510
- Sub-Stat: 51.7% Physical Dmg
- Effect: Normal Attack hits on opponents increase Elemental Skill DMG by 20% for 5s. Elemental Skill hits on opponents increase Normal Attack DMG by 20% for 5s.
Mitternachts Waltz may not be the absolute best Bow for Fischl, but it is definitely the most rounded Bow she can use. The Bow doesn’t undermine or ignore any of Fischl’s skills. Instead, Mitternachts Waltz increases Fischl’s Elemental Skill and Normal Attacks at the same time, giving players the flexibility to use her skills however they want.
Compound Bow
- Base ATK: 454
- Sub-Stat: 69% Physical Dmg
- Effect: Normal Attack and Charged Attack hits increase ATK by 4% and Normal ATK SPD by 1.2% for 6s. Max 4 stacks. Can only occur once every 0.3s.
Compound Bow is a great weapon for C6 Fischl, especially at higher refinements. Since Oz will be attacking with Fischl’s Normal Attacks, Compound Bow will give Fischl the attack speed she needs to fully benefit from Oz’s joined attacks. This weapon is excellent for the Machine Gun Fischl playstyle.
Sub-DPS Fischl
Fischl as a Sub-DPS depends on Oz to deal damage. To boost this, players should buff her Electro and Elemental Skill damage.
Polar Star
- Base ATK: 608
- Sub-Stat: 33.1% Crit Rate
- Effect: Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst DMG increased by 12%. After a Normal Attack, Charged Attack, Elemental Skill, or Elemental Burst hits an opponent, 1 stack will be gained for 12s. When 1/2/3/4 stacks are present, ATK is increased by 10/20/30/48%.
Polar Star’s buff to Elemental Skill is perfect to enhance Oz’s damage. This weapon also offers a great amount of Critical Rate, making it far easier to build Fischl.
Alley Hunter
- Base ATK: 565
- Sub Stat: 27.6% ATK
- Effect: If the wielder is off-field, their DMG increases by 2% every second up to a max of 20%. When the character is on the field for more than 4s, the DMG buff decreases by 4% per second until it reaches 0%.
Since Fischl is going to be a Sub-DPS, she will spend most of her time off-field stacking Alley Hunter’s passive buff. To maintain the Bow’s stacks, players should swap Fischl out as soon as she’s done summoning Oz.
Support Fischl
Players sometimes include Fischl in their teams for a specific job because of Oz’s great Electro application. In this scenario, her damage isn’t as important as the utility she provides to her team.
Elegy for the End
- Base ATK: 608
- Sub-Stat: 55.1% Energy Recharge
- Effect: +60 Elemental Mastery. Gain one stack when Elemental Skill or Burst hit opponents. After gaining four stacks, they will be consumed and replaced with the following 12s team buff: +100 Elemental Mastery, +20% ATK. Once this passive effect is triggered, the wielder will not gain this stack for 20s.
When Fischl gains enough Elegy for the End’s stacks, she will increase her team’s Elemental Mastery and ATK%. The Bow’s Energy Recharge makes it possible for Fischl to cast her Burst more often, allowing her to maintain Oz for a longer duration on the field.
The Stringless
- Base ATK: 510
- Sub-Stat: 165 Elemental Mastery
- Effect: Increases Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst DMG by 24%.
Elemental Mastery (EM) allows Oz to deal higher Electro-charged or Overload damage. So if players are pairing her in an Elemental Reactions team, EM can be a great option for Fischl. The Stringless also buffs her Elemental Skill damage, so Oz’s raw damage isn’t forgotten.
Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
