Summary

  • Genshin Impact reruns allow players to obtain duplicate units and unlock Constellations.
  • Shenhe, Ganyu, Kokomi, Tartaglia, and Zhongli are among the characters waiting for reruns.
  • Version 4.8 will feature Navia, Nilou, and Yelan reruns, with Emilie's debut.

A Genshin Impact chart shows five-star characters who have been waiting for their reruns for a long time. In every Genshin Impact update, at least two five-star units get their rerun banner that lasts for several weeks. These banners appear alongside new characters' debut banners, allowing players to expand their teams. They are a great way to earn duplicate units and unlock Constellations.

When Genshin Impact players get a copy of a character they already have, they can spend it to unlock their Constellations. Many units benefit from these power-ups, earning new effects that improve their skills. For example, one of the newest five-star characters, Arlecchino, gets damage and level bonuses for his skills when his Constellations are activated.

Genshin Impact Reveals Upcoming Skins for Nilou and Kirara

Genshin Impact is showing off the newest skins coming to the game in Version 4.8, featuring both Nilou and Kirara with new looks.

A new Genshin Impact chart, shared by RapidFresh on Reddit, shows five-star characters who have gone the longest without receiving their own rerun. It turns out Shenhe was available on a banner 12 updates ago, while Ganyu received her last rerun in version 3.6 last year. Since their last reruns, HoYoverse has released two new gacha games, Honkai: Star Rail and Zenless Zone Zero. The chart also reveals that Genshin Impact's Kokomi has been absent for nine consecutive updates. One thing to note is that these five-star characters won't likely be available in version 4.8.

Genshin Impact Version 4.8 Waiting List

  • Shenhe (12 updates)
  • Ganyu (11 updates)
  • Kokomi (nine updates)
  • Tartaglia (eight updates)
  • Zhongli (eight updates)
  • Hu Tao (seven updates)
  • Wriothesley (seven updates)
  • Venti (seven updates)
  • Cyno (six updates)
  • Kamisato Ayato (six updates)

According to the chart, Genshin Impact's Tartaglia and Zhongli have spent months without being featured on a banner. Wriothesley and Hu Tao, on the other hand, haven't had a rerun for seven updates. If early leaks are accurate, some of these characters will be available on a rerun banner in version 5.0, which will be released in late August.

Five-star Genshin Impact characters that haven't received a rerun for months include Venti, Kamisato Ayato, Cyno, Kamisato Ayaka, Raiden Shogun, and Yoimiya. Unfortunately, they will probably not appear in the next two versions.

Many Genshin Impact players on Reddit claimed that Shenhe and Ganyu deserve a rerun, as they have been absent for months. Some indicated that the Chronicled Wish banner was supposed to solve this rerun issue but failed. Weirdly, those who started playing Genshin Impact last year haven't had a chance to get some top-tier characters yet.

Speaking of reruns, Genshin Impact's version 4.8 will give Navia, Nilou, and Yelan their own rerun banners. The newest five-star character, Emilie, will make her playable debut in the second phase of 4.8. As per the schedule, the upcoming update will arrive on July 17.
