A Genshin Impact leak has revealed that the upcoming five-star character Chasca has some of the most unique animations in the game. Developer HoYoverse has already confirmed that Chasca will debut as a new Anemo character in Genshin Impact Version 5.2.
According to the official announcement, Chasca won’t be the only new character arriving in this update, as she will be joined by the mysterious Ororon. While HoYoverse has yet to confirm their rarity, multiple leaks suggest that Chasca will be a five-star character, while Ororon will have a different rarity. This could mean they might appear together on the same Limited Character Banner in update 5.2.
Every Genshin Impact update has a its beta phase that starts approximately six weeks before the official release. The beta includes most of the upcoming content, such as new playable characters. The beta phase for Genshin Impact Version 5.2 recently began, and multiple leaks have already provided extensive details about Chasca and Ororon. A post on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit revealed in-game footage featuring Chasca. According to the post, Chasca will have one of the most special Elemental Skills in the game, allowing her to hover in the air while standing on a flying gun. During this state, she can deal massive AoE damage as the gun constantly reloads.

The longer players wait during the reload time, the more bullets Chasca will fire, resulting in higher damage output. Previous Genshin Impact leaks mentioned that the bullets in her Elemental Skill will deal different types of elemental damage, which has been confirmed in the video. When she fires her gun, the bullet indicator changes color, showing the type of elemental damage used.
Many comments claim this skill alone will make Chasca one of the fan-favorite characters in Genshin Impact. Some fans have described her kit as one of the most chaotic in the whole game. In contrast, leaks have also revealed that Chasca's Elemental Burst animation is much more simple as it makes the character fire a powerful blast that deals massive amounts of damage within a large area.
Since Chasca is an Anemo user, players will be able to fit her into various team compositions. Many players have expressed regret for pulling for Xilonen instead of saving their Primogems for Chasca, as these leaks suggest she could become one of the best DPS units in Genshin Impact.
