Chiori debuts in Genshin Impact as the second Geo vision holder in the Fontaine arc and the first character from Inazuma in this storyline. Despite her background as a renowned fashion designer in the game's lore, her gameplay versatility allows her to function as either a main-DPS or sub-DPS depending on player preferences and team compositions. When building her, prioritizing stats like crit values, ATK, and DEF is key, with DEF holding slightly more importance due to her split scaling.
Genshin Impact: All Character Special Dishes
This guide will outline every character's special dishes and how to make them!
For her weapon selection, players should focus on options that enhance her Elemental Skill or provide bonuses like increased crit values or DEF stats to maximize her effectiveness in combat. The choice of weapon can significantly impact Chiori's performance, so Genshin Impact players should consider their preferred playstyle and team dynamics when making their selection. It is worth noting that Chiori's best weapon choices resemble Albedo's significantly.
6 Harbinger of Dawn
- Primary Stat: 401 Base ATK
- Secondary Stat: 46.9% CRIT DMG
- R5 Effect: When HP is above 90%, increases CRIT Rate by 28%.
The
Harbinger of Dawn proves to be an excellent option for players seeking a cost-effective weapon for Chiori in Genshin Impact. Despite being a 3-star weapon, its utility is noteworthy. Chiori's ability to remain off-field for extended periods, coupled with her capacity to maintain high HP through shields any Geo character may create with Crystallize, ensures that the weapon's passive effect – increasing Crit Rate when above 90% HP – remains consistently active. This effect even persists when she is off-field, further enhancing its value. Additionally, the weapon's secondary stat of Crit DMG reduces the need for meticulous stat optimization in artifact builds. Overall, the Harbinger of Dawn offers a good solution for enabling Chiori's utility without requiring too much resource investment.
5 Wolf-Fang
- Primary Stat: 510 Base ATK
- Secondary Stat: 27.6% CRIT Rate
- Effect: DMG dealt by Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst is increased by 16%. When an Elemental Skill hits an opponent, its CRIT Rate will be increased by 2%. When an Elemental Burst hits an opponent, its CRIT Rate will be increased by 2%. Both of these effects last 10s separately, have 4 max stacks, and can be triggered once every 0.1s.
While the
Wolf-Fang is among the newer and more favorable battle-pass weapons, its usage across various characters has been somewhat limited. However, it stands out as an excellent choice for Chiori, offering a notable increase in Crit Rate along with enhanced DMG for both her Elemental Skill and Burst. These attributes synergize well with Chiori's role as a sub-DPS, amplifying her effectiveness in supporting the team's damage output. While it can still be a viable option for her main-DPS role, its benefits are more pronounced when she primarily operates off-field, as it does not augment her Normal ATK damage.

The highly anticipated 5-star Geo sword user, Chiori, has some interesting abilities that make her a great addition to players’ parties.
4 Cinnebar Spindle
- Primary Stat: 454 Base ATK
- Secondary Stat: 69.0% DEF
- R5 Effect: Elemental Skill DMG is increased by 80% of DEF. The effect will be triggered no more than once every 1.5s and will be cleared 0.1s after the Elemental Skill deals DMG.
Cinnebar Spindle stands out as the top F2P and 4-star weapon choice for Chiori at present, particularly for those who have been lucky enough to acquire it during the version 2.3 flagship event. Not only does it provide a substantial boost to Chiori's DEF stat, but it also significantly enhances her Elemental Skill DMG, especially with additional investment in her DEF stat. However, since this weapon does not offer any Crit values, players will need to place greater emphasis on building up these stats through other means when utilizing Cinnebar Spindle.
3 Mistsplitter Reforged
- Primary Stat: 674 Base ATK
- Secondary Stat: 44.1% CRIT DMG
- Effect: Gain a 12% Elemental DMG Bonus for all elements and receive the might of the Mistsplitter's Emblem. At stack levels 1/2/3, Mistsplitter's Emblem provides an 8/16/28% Elemental DMG Bonus for the character's Elemental Type. The character will obtain 1 stack of Mistsplitter's Emblem in each of the following scenarios: Normal Attack deals Elemental DMG (stack lasts 5s), casting Elemental Burst (stack lasts 10s); Energy is less than 100% (stack disappears when Energy is full). Each stack's duration is calculated independently.
Mistsplitter Reforged presents another viable option for Chiori, although it may not rank as high as other 5-star limited swords on this list. With a respectable Crit DMG value, it serves well as a stat stick while also boosting her Elemental DMG bonus, which proves beneficial for her Geo DMG output whether she functions as a main or sub-DPS character. Additionally, she can independently achieve full stack levels with this weapon, given her ability to Geo-infuse her normal attacks. However, players may find it somewhat challenging to maintain Mistsplitter Reforged's stacks consistently compared to other weapon options, and its effectiveness may also hinge on the overall team composition.

2 Primordial Jade Cutter
- Primary Stat: 542 Base ATK
- Secondary Stat: 44.1% CRIT Rate
- Effect: HP increased by 20%. Additionally, provides an ATK Bonus based on 1.2% of the wielder's Max HP.
The
Primordial Jade Cutter stands out as one of the best sword options in the entire game, favored by many sword users, and it certainly proves effective for Chiori due to its high Crit Rate value. Despite not directly scaling with HP, the additional HP provided by this weapon contributes to Chiori's survivability, while its ATK bonus scaling from HP complements her split scaling. Even though the weapon doesn't boost her DEF stat, it allows players to focus more on Crit DMG and DEF, without needing to worry about Crit Rate or ATK stats as much. Overall, the Primordial Jade Cutter simplifies Chiori's build and enhances her performance significantly.
1 Uraku Misaguri
- Primary Stat: 542 Base ATK
- Secondary Stat: 88.2% CRIT DMG
- Effect: Normal Attack DMG is increased by 16% and Elemental Skill DMG is increased by 24%. After a nearby active character deals Geo DMG, the aforementioned effects increase by 100% for 15s. Additionally, the wielder's DEF is increased by 20%.
As Chiori's signature weapon, Uraku Misaguri is undoubtedly "tailor-made" for her and unsurprisingly her best-in-slot option. With a whopping Crit DMG value as a secondary stat and added DEF value in its passive, it allows her to deal massive damage. Moreover, her Normal Attack and Elemental Skill DMG are further increased at excellent ratios even without any refinements. This effect is further enhanced when she's in a team with other Geo characters, which also plays into her synergy with characters that can create Geo constructs. Thus, the Uraku Misaguri is significantly valuable for players who want to invest in Chiori as much as possible while also wanting to have an easier time optimizing her stats through her artifacts.
