Genshin Impact has officially revealed a brand-new glider and new Serenitea Pot furniture coming to the game, but the new content is currently expected to be exclusive to China and Korea. HoYoverse has given players plenty of different ways to customize their characters in the massively popular fantasy RPG, beyond improving them with weapons and Artifacts. Several Genshin Impact characters feature their own unique skins, while the plethora of gliders available allow players to change up their looks in the skies of Teyvat. Now, HoYoverse is gearing up to welcome the game's next collaboration.
Collaborations are far from a new thing for Genshin Impact, with multiple unique cosmetics and items available through HoYoverse's many partnerships. China has often seen its own exclusive rewards and cosmetics for crossovers, seeing Genshin Impact pair up with major brands like Pizza Hut and KFC among others. HoYoverse has even gone so far as to add an entirely new character to Genshin Impact's roster, with a Horizon Zero Dawn collaboration adding franchise protagonist Aloy as a playable character. However, HoYoverse's next collab looks to be exclusive to a certain subset of Genshin Impact players.
Genshin Impact recently unveiled a new collaboration event set to run in Korea, beginning at the end of July. Genshin Impact will be partnering with Korean coffee chain Mega Coffee to feature a special event, offering a wide array of unique Genshin Impact-themed drinks. The crossover will also reward players with an exclusive black-and-red glider, as well as a new furniture item for the Serenitea Pot inspired by a tea stand. The Genshin Impact collaboration is currently set to be exclusive to China and Korea, though HoYoverse has confirmed it will be made available globally at a later date.
Genshin Impact Reveals New Collaboration Cosmetics
Genshin Impact's newest glider joins multiple new ways for players to customize their characters coming in the near future. Genshin Impact's Version 4.8 is expected to add "trails" as a reward for the recently-added Imaginarium Theater game mode, featuring unique visual effects for character movement. The update will also add the previously-mentioned skins, with both Nilou and Kirara seeing new outfits added to Genshin Impact. Genshin Impact's Version 4.8 update is currently scheduled to launch early next week.
With a plethora of cosmetics and a new crossover on the way, HoYoverse has big plans in store for Genshin Impact's summer. The update following Version 4.8 will be the long-awaited Version 5.0 update, introducing Genshin Impact's newest playable region of Natlan. HoYoverse has already begun to hype up its next explorable area in the weeks leading up to Version 4.8, recently debuting a Genshin Impact trailer introducing several characters from Natlan. Genshin Impact's new cosmetics will serve as the perfect complement to the game's upcoming new characters and locales.
