Genshin Impact has officially rolled out its newest collaboration event, partnering with Duolingo to reward fans with Primogems and a free trial for Duolingo's premium services. Primogems are one of the most valuable resources players can acquire within the massively popular HoYoverse RPG, granting more chances to pull on the game's gacha banners. Genshin Impact rewards players with Primogems for completing a variety of in-game objectives, from clearing quests to opening chests. However, HoYoverse also offers multiple ways to earn gacha currency out-of-game as well.
Genshin Impact regularly features different campaigns allowing players to earn Primogems in the game while not playing. Each new character and update typically features an accompanying web event, often offering unique and charming methods for earning a few extra Primogems by completing mini-games and in-game challenges. HoYoverse also features redeemable codes that players can enter to claim free Primogems, typically giving out codes during livestreams and each version's "Special Program" broadcast. Now, Genshin Impact's newest Primogem codes are coming from an unusual collaboration.

Genshin Impact Version 4.8 is the much-awaited summer update, which debuts a new 5-star character, limited-time events, and many more.
Genshin Impact recently announced the game's newfound partnership with popular language-learning app Duolingo, featuring rewards for both apps. For a limited time, players can use the code "DUOIMPACT" to receive an in-game reward of 30 Primogems alongside Hero's Wit EXP items, Mora, and food items. The collaboration is also giving out a month-long free trial of Duolingo's "Super Duolingo" premium service, removing ads and adding mistake reviews, by using the code "GENSHINLINGO". The Genshin Impact and Duolingo crossover only lasts a limited time, however, with players able to claim the free rewards until July 18.

The collaboration between Genshin Impact and Duolingo is far from the first unique way the language app has tried to garner more users. Duolingo featured a major crossover with popular anime streaming platform Crunchyroll last year, offering free trials of both Super Duolingo and Crunchyroll Premium. The collaboration also included a special language-learning course within Duolingo as part of the event, featuring iconic phrases from some of the most popular anime franchises. Duolingo has not announced any unique courses available as part of the Genshin Impact event.
The extra Primogems from Genshin Impact's Duolingo crossover will look to come in handy with plenty of major character releases on the way. The upcoming Version 4.8 will see the debut of Emilie as Genshin Impact's newest Dendro character, with re-runs of Nilou, Navia, and Yelan coming during the patch. HoYoverse also recently teased several new Natlan characters ahead of the region's official launch next month, potentially including the long-rumored Pyro Archon. Genshin Impact fans will need all the Primogems they can get with so many new characters set to join the playable roster soon.
