Dehya can be played as either a support, Pyro DPS, or Elemental Reaction trigger in Genshin Impact. For the supportive build, Dehya can use HP weapons or Sacrificial Greatsword, while Pyro DPS Dehya should focus on some offensive stats like ATK and Critical Rate. Meanwhile, a Reaction-trigger Dehya can stack up Elemental Mastery to increase Transformative reactions’ damage.

Fortunately, there are plenty of Claymores in Genshin Impact that Dehya can choose from. There are a few that offer HP, plenty that has offensive stat, and quite a lot of Elemental Mastery weapons.

8 Sacrificial Greatsword

  • Primary Stat: 565 Base ATK
  • Secondary Stat: 30.6% Energy Recharge
  • R5 Effect: After dealing damage to an opponent with an Elemental Skill, the skill has a 80% chance to end its own CD. Can only occur once every 16s.

Sacrificial Greatsword may not be entirely useful for Dehya’s damage, but if players wish to prolong the duration of her Elemental Skill, then this Claymore is worth trying out.

7 The Bell

  • Primary Stat: 510 Base ATK
  • Secondary Stat: 41.3% HP
  • R5 Effect: Taking DMG generates a shield which absorbs DMG up to 32% of max HP. This shield lasts for 10s or until broken, and can only be triggered once every 45s. While protected by a shield, the character gains 24% increased DMG.

The Bell is great for both Dehya’s damage and for increasing her mitigating capacity. The passive won’t trigger if she’s off-field, but if she got hit while active, then her Skill will get the extra DMG, even if she’s off-field.

6 Prototype Archaic

  • Primary Stat: 565 Base ATK
  • Secondary Stat: 27.6% ATK
  • R5 Effect: On hit, Normal or Charged Attacks have a 50% chance to deal an additional 480% ATK DMG to opponents within a small AoE. Can only occur once every 15s.

Prototype Archaic is a viable weapon for her damage even though the passive is useless since her Burst is not considered Normal Attack. Another alternative for her damage would be Serpent Spine. Similarly, the battle pass weapon also has a passive that Dehya won’t be able to benefit from.

5 Luxurious Sea-Lord

dehya using luxurious sea-lord in genshin impact
  • Primary Stat: 454 Base ATK
  • Secondary Stat: 55.1% ATK
  • R5 Effect: Increases Elemental Burst DMG by 24%. When Elemental Burst hits opponents, there is a 100% chance of summoning a huge onrush of tuna that deals 200% ATK as AoE DMG. This effect can occur once every 15s.

Luxurious Sea-Lord is an event-exclusive weapon, making it inaccessible to some players. Its performance depends on how often players use her Elemental Burst, so for those who only want to play her Skill, then it’s best to use other Claymores.

4 Mailed Flower

  • Primary Stat: 565 Base ATK
  • Secondary Stat: 110 Elemental Mastery
  • R5 Effect: Within 8s after the character's Elemental Skill hits an opponent or the character triggers an Elemental Reaction, their ATK and Elemental Mastery will be increased by 24% and 96 respectively.

Dehya can also work in teams that play Elemental Reactions in Genshin Impact. The most common team comp for Dehya is the Burgeon team, so Elemental Mastery Claymores like Mailed Flower, Bloodtainted Greatsword, Makhaira Aquamarine, and Rainslasher are all viable options.

3 Redhorn Stonethresher

dehya using redhorn stonethresher in genshin impact
  • Primary Stat: 542 Base ATK
  • Secondary Stat: 88.2% Crit DMG
  • Effect: DEF is increased by 28%. Normal and Charged Attack DMG is increased by 40% of DEF.

Redhorn Stonethresher is great for Dehya’s damage due to its large Crit DMG sub-stat. Its low base ATK places it under The Unforged, but if players get Dehya’s C1, then this Claymore performs better than The Unforged.

2 Wolf's Gravestone

dehya using wolf gravestone in genshin impact
  • Primary Stat: 608 Base ATK
  • Secondary Stat: 49.6% ATK
  • Effect: Increases ATK by 20%. On hit, attacks against opponents with less than 30% HP increase all party members' ATK by 40% for 12s. Can only occur once every 30s.

Wolf’s Gravestone is generally a great Claymore in Genshin Impact, especially thanks to its passive that buffs the entire team. Of course, the ATK buff can’t be triggered when Dehya is off-field, so its performance varies based on whether the passive activates or not.

1 Beacon of the Reed Sea

dehya using Beacon of the reed sea in genshin impact
  • Primary Stat: 608 Base ATK
  • Secondary Stat: 33.1% CRIT Rate
  • Effect: After the character's Elemental Skill hits an opponent, their ATK will be increased by 20% for 8s. After the character takes DMG, their ATK will be increased by 20% for 8s. The 2 aforementioned effects can be triggered even when the character is not on the field. Additionally, when not protected by a shield, the character's Max HP will be increased by 32%.

The best Claymore for Dehya as of version 3.5 is the Beacon of the Reed Sea. This weapon continuously increases her ATK, buffs her HP, and even provides a Critical Rate sub-stat. Although not the best DPS upon release, this equipment gives a rough idea of which direction miHoYo wishes Dehya will be played in the future.

Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
