Just because Genshin Impact has moved on from the Electro region, Inazuma, to a new one, Sumeru, doesn't mean that we've seen the end of Electro characters. One of the first characters players are introduced to from the Sumeru region is Dori, an Electro Vision holder and young merchant who wields a claymore in battle.

This Electro user will need some of the same items as older Electro characters, such as Vajrada Amethyst, as well as some items from the Sumeru region. Read on for all the materials and Mora needed to ascend Dori and level up her talents.

Leveling Materials

Like any other character, Dori needs over 8 million EXP to reach level 90.

Ascending Dori will require some adventures around the Sumeru region, as she uses enemy drops, boss materials, and regional specialties only found there.

Gemstones - Where to Find Vajrada Amethyst

All Electro characters use Vajrada Amethyst, and it can be found in many places. Typically, it can be found by defeating bosses that are capable of dropping it, including the following:

*Azhdaha and the Primo Geovishap can only drop Vajrada Amethyst when infused with Electro!

Enemy Drop - Where to Find Eremite Silks

Sumeru introduced a new human faction of enemies, called the Eremites. These mercenaries will drop these eye coverings when defeated, though they'll need to be certain levels to drop the better quality materials.

Any level: Faded Red Satin
Level 40+: Trimmed Red Silk
Level 60+: Rich Red Brocade

Eremites can be found basically everywhere in Sumeru. They tend to camp in groups, making it easy to gather their materials.

Boss Drop - How to Get Thunderclap Fruitcore

This strange purple fruit is the boss drop that Dori uses for ascension. It can only be obtained in one way: by defeating the Electro Regisvine of Sumeru.

The Electro Regisvine is located to the northeast of Sumeru City, nestled into the woods of the Mawtiyima Forest.

Local Specialty - Where to Find Kalpalata Lotus

Sumeru, like all regions, is home to some regional plants and materials that can only be found there. Characters from Sumeru will use these materials in their ascension, and Dori is no different.

Dori's special local item is the Kalpalata Lotus. This flower can be found growing on the mountains found in Sumeru, specifically on cliff sides.There are a few locations where it can be found growing, including just south of Vimara Village, slightly east of the giant Ruin Guard, dotted around the south edge of Vanarana, and in some spots northeast of Caravan Ribat.

Leveling up Dori's talents will require trips to both Sumeru and, interestingly, Liyue.

Talent Books - Ingenuity

The Ingenuity talent books are needed for Dori's talent upgrades. They can be obtained in a few ways, similar to most other talent books, but will mostly be farmable from the Steeple of Ignorance domain.

The Steeple of Ignorance can drop Ingenuity books on Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday.

Trounce Materials - Bloodjade Branch

In an interesting turn of events, Dori needs to head back to Liyue to grab some materials for her talent level-ups. Specifically, she requires the Bloodjade Branch, which is a unique drop from Azhdaha in the Beneath the Dragon Queller trounce domain.

This domain can be challenged once a week, and Original Resin is required to claim its rewards.
