The Faded Castle is a mysterious place in Genshin Impact that has an affinity towards an even more mysterious symphony. In this place, players may come across restless books that fly around and refuse to settle on their bookshelf.
However, using the symphony's power, players can calm these tomes and pick up the Lost Grimoire to return them to their bookshelves. Returning all eight Lost Grimoires in the Faded Castle will bestow Travelers with the Loved By Books achievement in Genshin Impact.

Loved By Books Achievement In Genshin Impact
To get the Loved By Books achievement in Genshin Impact, players must find eight Lost Grimoire and place them into the bookshelves scattered around the Faded Castle.
Lost Grimoire Locations In Genshin Impact
Lost Grimoire are all located in the Faded Castle in Genshin Impact. Most of them are located near or even right next to a floating book gate, making it easy to restore them, as long as players know where to go.
To stop the flying book, use the Tap Skill of The Might of the Ancient Symphony. Players can switch to this mode by pressing T on the PC. After placing the Lost Grimoire back on the bookshelf, use the Hold Skill to move the books aside and allow players access behind the bookshelf.
Lost Grimoire Location #1
The first Lost Grimoire is pretty self-explanatory as players would see it when they first arrive at the Faded Castle as they journey with the feline companion.
Lost Grimoire Location #2
From the first Lost Grimoire location, go back to the entrance and keep heading down the stairs to the Faded Castle: Exhibition Area, which will lead to the Legatus Golem boss in Genshin Impact. At the bottom of the stairs, players will see an arrow and a Lost Grimoire. Follow the arrow to a Chest, and right across the Chest, players can see the Lost Grimoire. After getting the flying book, head back to the entrance where you can place the tome.
Lost Grimoire Location #3
Head deeper into the Faded Castle and pick up the Lost Grimoire floating near a small harp. There’s no nearby bookshelf, so players must head to the secret study in the southern part of Faded Castle: Middle Level. There, players will also find the Damaged Music Score required by Tailleferre in Genshin Impact.
Lost Grimoire Location #4
Upon reaching the secret study, players will find the fourth Lost Grimoire around the benches and tables. Pick it up, then head up the stairs to restore it.
Lost Grimoire Location #5
After there are no more stairs, players will arrive at a floor where there’s a Crystal Mechanism. Ignore the Crystal Mechanism for now, and instead walk to the end of the floor to find the fifth Lost Grimoire flying next to the bookshelf.
Lost Grimoire Location #6
Now, go back to the Crystal Mechanism and activate it. This will summon some blue platforms. Use the blue platforms to reach the highest part of the area. Next to the bookshelf is the sixth Lost Grimoire.
Lost Grimoire Location #7
Go to Faded Castle: Lower Level. By the stairs near the water, players will find the seventh Lost Grimoire in Genshin Impact. The bookshelf for this one is also far away as players must go to the Faded Castle: Upper Level to return it home.
Lost Grimoire Location #8
The final Grimoire is by the water in the Faded Castle. Its bookshelf is one staircase higher than the tome’s location, at the same level as Lost Grimoire #7.
