HoYoverse has partnered with everything from fast food chains like KFC and Pizza Hut to even featuring a fully playable character in Horizon: Zero Dawn's Aloy. Genshin Impact's newest collaboration, however, boasted a much wider reach than past events.
HoYoverse launched the highly-anticipated collaboration between Genshin Impact and McDonald's last month, featuring exclusive items both in the real world and in-game. Fans ordering the Genshin Impact meal from McDonald's were treated to special packaging for the chain's Apple Pies, featuring Beidou and Kazuha on the box. Both the meal and the individual Apple Pie also came with redeemable codes for Genshin Impact, with one granting an exclusive in-game glider. Now, one fan has picked up some particularly exclusive merchandise from the collaboration.

HoYoverse confirms that a big upcoming Genshin Impact concert has been pushed back to a later date, and it will be at a different venue.
A post shared to the Genshin Impact leaks subreddit by Reddit user brontebrontebronte shows off their unique Genshin Impact merchandise. The user shares that a friend had worked at McDonald's during the collaboration, giving them a batch of goodies from the event that includes an "NPC" crew shirt and a tote bag. The merchandise set also includes standees of Natlan's first trio of characters, a special notebook, and multiple collectible postcards from Genshin Impact. More users in the reply shared that some of the Genshin Impact merchandise may have been exclusive to specific local events.

The special set of Genshin Impact merchandise comes as HoYoverse has often given fans the chance to pick up unique collectibles from the game. HoYoverse announced a partnership with smartphone developer OnePlus earlier this year to release a Genshin Impact-themed version of the OnePlus 12R, designed around five-star character Keqing. The previously mentioned collaborations with brands like KFC and Pizza Hut have also often included merchandise as a bonus, with last year's Pizza Hut crossover offering a multipurpose file in Japan.
Genshin Impact's McDonald's collaboration coincided with an exciting time for the RPG as the game welcomed its sixth playable region. Natlan's debut offered plenty of new terrain for players to explore, alongside the next expansion of the game's Archon Quest delving into Natlan's ongoing conflict with the Abyss.
