A new Genshin Impact leak has revealed the first information about the characters set to arrive in the next major region. Genshin Impact has followed a pattern of introducing one major region per year, with Natlan being the most recent addition.
While many players were excited to see the arrival of the long-awaited Snezhnaya, recent Genshin Impact teasers only mentioned the arrival of a smaller sub-region called Nod-Krai, which is the southern part of the Cryo nation. This led many players to believe that Snezhnaya might be so large that HoYoverse could break its usual pattern of releasing a new region each year and instead spread its release over two years.

A new Genshin Impact leak reveals that Skirk has received some unexpected changes that could negatively impact her performance on the battlefield.
The addition of a major region is widely regarded as the most important annual event, as it brings a completely new storyline to Genshin Impact, along with new explorable terrain and tons of playable units. Over the past few months, players have been speculating about which characters might arrive in the upcoming patches, and it seems that leaks are already providing more information. A Genshin Impact leaker named Team Command has apparently revealed a list of characters expected to join the playable roster with Nod-Krai. The list includes two Harbingers, which is unusual considering the game typically adds only one of these high-ranking Fatui officers per major region. However, this increase may be due to the fact that the ongoing Natlan arc has not introduced any Harbingers to the roster so far.

Barbeloth is a mysterious character also known by the codename "B," and she is confirmed to be a master hydromancer and Mona’s teacher. Her abilities strongly suggest that she will be a new Hydro user in Genshin Impact. Dottore has already made multiple appearances during the Sumeru arc, where he served as the main villain. Although many players expected him to join the roster back then, HoYoverse instead added Scaramouche, now known as the Wanderer.
His Harbinger colleague, Columbina, has been described as one of the most powerful characters in all of Teyvat, which is why she holds the title of Third Fatui Harbinger in Genshin Impact. The Grandmaster of the Knights of Favonius, Varka, remains one of the most anticipated characters who has yet to make an official appearance. However, recent trailers revealed his voice, suggesting his arrival may be sooner than expected.
Durin is a legendary shadow dragon created by Rhinedottir, one of the Five Sinners of Genshin Impact’s Khaenri’ah civilization. The ongoing Genshin Impact Version 5.6 delves deeper into Durin’s story, which could mean he is joining the roster in the coming months.
