Genshin Impact has revealed a new wind glider that players will be able to claim for free in celebration of the game's release on Xbox. Genshin Impact originally arrived for PC, Android, and iOS devices in 2020, with the PlayStation version released the following year.
Developed by HoYoverse, Genshin Impact has become a huge success, serving as a gateway for players unfamiliar with gacha RPGs. It features the rich open world of Teyvat, which players can explore by recruiting a team of four characters from over 80. In addition to combat, Genshin Impact players can cook, fish, and craft, making the experience even more captivating. Now, with the game on its way to Xbox consoles, the devs have good news for players.

Celebrating Genshin Impact's release on Xbox Series X/S, HoYoverse is giving away the Wings of Fate's Course Intertwined wind glider for free. The item will be available permanently to Xbox owners starting on November 20, with the release of Genshin Impact Version 5.2. Players on other platforms will also have the chance to add the wind glider to their accounts. In this case, the glider will only be available during Version 5.3 (January 1 to February 12, 2025, when Version 5.4 will be released). It's important to note that only players with Adventure Rank 2 or higher are eligible and that the item will remain in the in-game mail for claiming for 30 days.

The release of Genshin Impact for Xbox consoles will happen simultaneously with the arrival of Version 5.2. Named "Tapestry of Spirit and Flame," the update will see the arrival of the new characters Chasca and Ororon, expanding the roster of Anemo and Electro characters. Other content in Version 5.2 includes the reruns of Neuvillette and Zhongli, new weapons, quests, and enemies, along with two new maps for players to explore and five new events to join.
