A famous diver and the wielder of a Cryo Vision, Freminet is a four-star claymore user in Genshin Impact. The third sibling to Lyney and Lynette, Freminet was released shortly after his brother and sister.

Anyone looking to use Freminet in battle will want to ascend him and upgrade his talents. To do this, quite a few items will be needed. This guide will outline all of these items, as well as where to find them. Here are all of the Freminet mats that a player will need to max out this Cryo user.

Ascension Levels and Requirements

Freminet needs over 8 million EXP to reach level 90, which the highest possible. Here's how much is needed between each ascension level:

Freminet Ascension Items

As a Cryo user, Freminet needs some Shivada Jade to ascend. Fitting his diving theme, he'll also use some Fontemer Aberrant drops and Romaritime Flowers. Lastly, other than Mora, Freminet also needs the Clockwork Component drop from defeating Coppelius of the Icewind Suite.

Gemstones - Where to Find Shivada Jade

All Cryo users need Shivada Jade, and Freminet is no exception. While most of it will come from boss fights, this guide can show some other methods for obtaining it.

Enemy Drop - Where to Find Fontemer Aberrant Drops

Fontemer Aberrants come in many varieties and are found almost everywhere in Fontaine, both on land and below the water. Freminet needs quite a few of their drops to ascend, and it's wise to remember that higher-level enemies can drop higher-level items:

• Any level: Transoceanic Pearl
• Level 40+: Transoceanic Chunk
• Level 60+: Xenochromatic Crystal

Boss Drop - How to Get Artificed Spare Clockwork Component — Coppelius

The Icewind Suite boss, found near the Fountain of Lucine, can be challenged by speaking with Maillardet. By selecting "Nemesis of Coppelius," the player will initiate a fight against one half of the suite, Coppelius. This selection will result in Coppelius' drops, which include the boss material Freminet needs: Artificed Spare Clockwork Component — Coppelius.

Local Specialty - Romaritime Flower Locations

The last special item needed for Freminet's ascension is a local specialty of Fontaine, known as Romaritime Flowers. These special plants are found in various places around Fontaine, mostly underwater. They are only harvestable if affected by Hydro.

Luckily, if the player is having trouble finding enough of them, they can be grown in the Serenitea Pot or purchased from two different vendors. Xana will sell 10 of them them in exchange for one Strange Part, but is only accessible after completing the Ancient Colors World Quest. The other vendor is Hinterman, located in Poisson, who sells five at a time for 1,000 Mora each. He restocks every week.

Freminet Talent Materials

Freminet's talents require some of the same materials as his ascension, but also some that are only used for talent upgrades.

Talent Books - Justice

The series of talent books Freminet uses is Justice. These books are obtainable by clearing the Pale Forgotten Glory domain on Tuesday, Friday, or Sunday.

Trounce Materials - Worldspan Fern

The only material used for upgrading Freminet that isn't found in Fontaine is his trounce material, used for leveling up talents. Instead, players will need to head back to Sumeru and clear the Realm of Beginnings trounce challenge, which can drop the Worldspan Fern. This trounce challenge is unlocked after completing Nahida's second Story Quest: Homecoming.
