Fortress of Meropide in Genshin Impact is supposedly a prison, but it feels more like a community for exiles. Here, convicts have to follow rules and work if they wish to live properly, but slacking off is allowed occasionally at the cost of some Credit Coupons. Fortunately, even those who work lightly will still get fed since the Warden doesn’t wish to lose the valuable workers of the Fortress.
People can get their daily meals in the Coupon Cafeteria, and this spot will frequently be visited by the Traveler and Paimon since the Emergency Food needs her daily calories, despite the protagonist handling all the work. If players ever get lost while navigating through the Fortress of Meropide, getting to the Coupon Cafeteria in Genshin Impact actually only requires one click, which will be explained in the article below.
How To Go To The Coupon Cafeteria In Genshin Impact
To go to the Coupon Cafeteria in Genshin Impact, players simply have to press on the Fortress of Meropide logo, and press Teleport. This will immediately transport Travelers to the Administrative Area where the Cafeteria is.
People can also use the Teleport Waypoint in the Dormitories floor, then glide down to the Administrative Area.
However, if players are seeking that sense of immersion, they can get a detour by riding the elevators depending on where they currently are. There’s no direct road to go to the Administrative Area from the Production Zone: Upper Level, so players must first ride the lift down to the Production Zone: Lower Level.
Once at the Production Zone: Lower Level, go to the western elevator and ride the lift up to the Administrative Area.
Once the elevator stops, walk around the circular ground of the Fortress of Meropide to reach the Coupon Cafeteria on the northeastern side of the Administrative Area.
Coupon Cafeteria And Welfare Meals
Criminals in the Fortress of Meropide can get meals by spending Credit Coupons in the Cafeteria. However, once per day, they can claim a Welfare Meal for free, allowing everyone to have at least one portion of food every day. However, these Welfare Meals are treated like gacha where people can never know what they may get. Sometimes, they may get lucky and claim a delicious box, while other times, it can be a suspicious bowl of soup. Those who broke the "hidden rules" may even end up with suspicious-looking meats that look like it could cause fatalities after one bite.
Players can see what they get on their daily Welfare Meal by heading to Inventory, and then choosing the Precious Items tab. Find the Welfare Meal and press Use to reveal a dish and a Fortune Slip. Meanwhile, the food box itself can be claimed by speaking to Bran the robot. Like the rules of the Fortress, only one Welfare Meal can be claimed every daily reset.
Once Travelers accumulate enough Credit Coupons by running errands or opening Genshin Impact Chests, they can speak to the Coupon Cafeteria Supervisor and buy exclusive recipes and even some extra dishes to keep them energized in the prison chores.
