The Happy Birthday quest in Genshin Impact takes place in the Court of Fontaine Region. The adventure mission is tasked by Earnshaw, who thinks that Lanoire has been abducted by a giant Hilichurl. However, the abductor is none other than Caterpillar, who simply came to celebrate Lanoire’s birthday with her.
Locating Lanoire and Caterpillar and having a conversation with them during the Happy Birthday quest will reward Travelers with The Story is Over, But... Achievement in Genshin Impact. The achievement grants players an extra five 
Primogems.

Happy Birthday Quest In Genshin Impact
Triggering the Happy Birthday quest in Genshin Impact can be tiresome as it requires completing the following quests beforehand:
- Wake Of Narcissus Act 2.
- Through the Looking Glass.
- Pursuit
- Wish Fulfilling Treasure Hunt.
- Pursuit 2.
Wake Of Narcissus Act 2 Quest
Triggering the Act 2 of the Wake Of Narcissus can be achieved after completing:
- Ancient Colors.
- Ann of the Narzissenkreuz.
- Unfinished Comedy.
Upon completing this World Quest, the 
Sword of Narzissenkreuz will be rewarded to players.
Through the Looking Glass Quest
Locating six Looking Glass Paintings and solving their puzzles will trigger the Through the Looking Glass quest in Genshin Impact. Triggering this quest requires players to at least complete the Search in the Algae quest. Furthermore, completing it will reward Travelers with five Luxurious chests alongside other chests.
Pursuit Quest
The Pursuit quest is unlocked after completing the Through the Looking Glass quest in Genshin Impact. The adventure mission takes place in the Book of Revealing World, where Travelers will meet Canotila. It also grants players 30 Primogems, 250 
Adventure EXP, 2 Hero’s Wit, and 30,000 
Mora.
Wish Fulfilling Treasure Hunt Quest
Triggering the Wish Fulfilling Treasure Hunt quest in Genshin Impact requires sinking the Tower of Ipsissimus during the Search in the Algae Sea. It takes place in the Morte Region and grants players 30 Primogems, 35,000 Mora, 200 Adventure EXP, and the Enigmatic page X in Genshin Impact.
Pursuit 2 Quest
After acquiring the Enigmatic page X during the Wish Fulfilling Treasure Hunt quest, head back to A Very Warm Place and Decipher the page with the Book of Revealing. Upon completing the previous step, Travelers will be pulled into the Book of Revealing World, where they have to save Canotila. Complete it to get the same reward as the first Pursuit quest.
Happy Birthday Quest
After completing the previously mentioned quests:
- Teleport to the Court of Fontaine Region northwestern Waypoint.
- Wait for two in-game days.
- Go towards Earnshaw location.
Arriving at Earnshaw's home will trigger the Happy Birthday quest automatically. The old man notifies the Traveler that Lanoire has been abducted by a Hilichurl and asks them to find her.
The little girl will be safe and sound with Caterpillar north of Earnshaw's location in Mont Esus East. Approach them to initiate a conversation. However, the chat will be held after Earnshaw and Charlene the guard arrive. Completing the quest will only reward Travelers with The Story is Over, But... Achievement in Genshin Impact.
