The Night’s Trials in Genshin Impact is a fun mechanic introduced in Natlan. Each boss is completely different from the other with unique movesets and ways to defeat them. One of these bosses is a cute Capybara called He Never Dies. That boss barely takes damage and has a charged attack that can one-shot your characters.
A boss like He Never Dies might leave players confused as to why it’s so tanky and sturdy against all the attacks you might throw at them. For an easier time against a boss like that, here’s how to beat He Never Dies in Genshin Impact.

How To Beat He Never Dies In Genshin Impact
To beat He Never Dies in Genshin Impact you’ll have to understand their mechanics and how to land hits on them, as each Night’s Trial is different. Beating He Never Dies requires players to interrupt or knock the boss away, which can be done with multiple methods. Against this boss fight, each weapon and Elemental reaction has a certain value that applies to the boss until their hidden meter is full. Once you fill that hidden meter, the boss will be knocked out and interrupted.
Using Claymore wielders in Genshin Impact is idea l since they have one of the highest interruption value against He Never Dies. Polearm and Sword users can be decent but need more help from their team. As for Bows and Catalyst users, they should be avoided since they barely deal any damage to the He Never Dies stance. That being said, certain characters enjoy a variety of blunt and explosive attacks, like
Klee in Genshin Impact. These characters would do well against the boss since their hits fill the He Never Dies’ hidden meter quickly.
Genshin Impact: Nightsoul and Phlogiston, Explained (New Natlan Mechanics)
Nightsoul is the core mechanic of Natlan characters in Genshin Impact, while Phlogiston is how to fuel the system.
As for Elemental reactions, Overloaded is the best reaction since it’s an explosive attack. So, building a team around Pyro and Electro users in Genshin Impact is viable. Electro-charged and Swirl reactions are also strong while not as effective as Overloaded.
During the boss fight, He Never Dies barely makes any attack, but when he does, it’s deadly. So, bringing a healer or a good shielder like Zhongli in Genshin Impact is important. Eventually, the boss will start shining as they charge their Ultimate. Once they do that, they become extra aggressive, so you must break their stance and stop them from fully charging their ultimate.

You can get three Achievements when beating He Never Dies in Genshin Impact. Unfortunately, in order to get all three Achievements, you’ll have to beat He Never Dies three times. The good side of beating the boss three times is changing the display of their Obsidian Totem in Genshin Impact. After three times, the Obsidian Totem will shine with pretty lights all over it.
The first Achievement grants players 5
Primogem and can be achieved by simply defeating the boss. For the second one, you’ll have to beat He Never Dies while avoiding taking damage from their Ultimate Technique, and will reward players with 10 Primogems. Knowing which one of their attacks is their Ultimate Technique is crucial since the third Achievement also revolves around that hit. Their Ultimate Technique is when the boss starts glowing and charging for around five seconds before they start dashing all over the map one-shotting your characters.
Genshin Impact: All Precious & Luxurious Chest Locations In Children Of Echoes' Tequemecan Valley
Tequemecan Valley is Children of Echoes' area in Genshin Impact Natlan; explore the land to get Yellow Obsidian Fragments & get Yellow Obsidian Ring.
Finally, the third and final He Never Dies Achievement will reward players with 20 Primogems in Genshin Impact. You can get this Achievement by beating He Never Dies after interrupting their Ultimate Technique three times.
